Think about it

Ok, all you people that are strongly against Somerset going "wet", why don't you raise as much fuss about pseudoephederine being sold over the counter? Methamphetamine is killing more people in our area than alcohol did or ever will! I respect that you are standing up for a cause, but I do believe your energy should be directed else where! Methamphetamine endangers an unknown amount of children on a daily basis, possibly even yours! Lets say dad decides to do a meth lab and uses little Johnny's backpack to hide it in over the weekend. Then on Monday little Johnny gets on the school bus with his backpack and carries it on into the class room, he has unknowling exposed every child and adult he has come in contact with to Methamphetamine. What if you child just so happens to share a locker with him? That coat he wears, it has traces of Meth on it too. Yes, it hangs right up against your child's jacket. Stop and think about it folks.....alcohol is the LEAST of our worries.

well, if it wasn't against the law to beat the living daylights out of the offenders instead of smacking their hands.......... Bring back riding them out of town on a rail, stocks on the fountain square, and lests we should forget, tar and feather.

I'm trying to think of who is trying to open up a meth lab to sell to the public? I read all the time about police busting them. I agree the law is not tough enough on them and it needs to go back to the three strikes your out and be held accountable for your actions, but that is up for the courts to decide.
I can't for the life of me understand how anyone can say Somerset going wet will benefit anyone! Its only going to destroy lives, drive up the crime rate, and people know this!

When did people stop drinking, just because Somerset don't sell it, doesn't mean they don't drink it. Almost everyone I know is a drunk or a meth head, I don't need non of it and would love to see an end of it all. It does destroy peoples lives, and causes so much child abuse it is sickening and cops stopping is ha a big joke, they even tell you that it does no good to arrest these people, judges just lets them all ride. If I was you, I'd vote down liberal judges.

People actually rallied against pseudoephederine being made prescription. Many people make a nice little chunk of spare change buying pseudoephederine and selling it for a profit. I don't understand why law makers even care about public opinion on the matter. Pseudoephederine is one of the most dangerous drugs there is. They might as well sell prescription strength pain medication over the counter.

If only everyone could just sit back and smoke a joint, there would be a lot less death and a lot more chillin'.

Who are the stupid people? I don't follow. Well the thread is regarding meth, so I will have to say, they are stupid people. To subject themselves to such a degrading substance is stupid. If you are saying that a lot of people smoking a joint will lead to stupid people, then I have to say you are dumb sir, because you are not educated about the substance and do not know what you are talking about. Colorado, Mass, Washington and other states that are moving into the 21st century regarding marijuana would not have done what they have if it was such a toxic plant. Many states will follow in the years to come when the studies show that hard drug use and violent crime has taken a dip just as it has in other parts of the world when recreational use is tolerated.

Back on topic, if you use meth you are f'n stupid.

Personally I hate meth. Just not my thing but if you do a little research then you will see that meth isn't always a bad thing. Not to mention it doesn't really kill that many people each year like people go on about. It has all kinds of medical value, they even give it to kids with ADHD. Hell Japan fought WWII on it.
Japan lost the war.
