...stay on par with surrounding communities when the local newspaper prints the comparisons below the fold on the front page?

I guarantee we would be paying $3.49-$3.59 otherwise.

Especially with Thanksgiving this week. Hopefully the newspaper will continue to do this; Somerset citizens have been fleeced by these gas stations long enough.

You can thank counciler Minton for the gas prices being in the paper, I just wish they would put them in a better place where you could see them better.

Only in somerset will people standby and let people steal from them and smile there needs to be a petition started and get about 5000 names and send to attorney general and he might think a little more about it for the next election.

$2.99 in Corbin. And I'm currently in Indiana for Thanksgiving ..$2.90!!

Its a shame we live in a city where gas doesn't hve to be transported and its more expensive than other neighboring cities and States even.:-/

This would be very true gas has always been at a higher price than most other counties that boarder Somerset. The really sad thing here is that the fuel is picked up in places such as TN as well as Lexington and Louisville. The other counties where it is less the two main suppliers here take gas to the counties where it is cheaper. I can understand that it would maybe be a little more here because of the lake and the access to the lake. I however feel that 1.00 or more than the counties around us is a little selfish. This is what happens when people are elected because no one bothers to research whom they maybe given the office and the power that comes along with that. I think until the people really choose someone whom is going to make a change there is really not going to be much change in the area.

The 10 cents per gal. BS just don't cut it any more - Some of these guys are makin' 50-60 cents per gal. - Hope all their hearses run out of gas goin' to their boneyards - Judgement day is for all of us , rich and poor -Some will still try to buy their way in - Wont work - There's still time for redemption - Lower those prices -

I'm considering loading my pick up with a clean container tank of gas, purchased out of town and selling it locally at cost. Just as a protest. You know, make a big deal out of it and maybe embarass some folks. It would be funny to do it on a cruise nite with big signs, hype it up.

More donations in the paper - Gas increased to recoup those giveaways - Happens every time - Grown folks playin' little kid games with the public basically held hostage - Still can't take it with them - No ATM's in the cemetery - No direct deposits in the grave - I can see it now , big ol' gas pump as a headstone - Mental illness , if we've ever seen it -
