i remember this one too. didn't one guy spend some time and all the others walked free. everyone had their suspicions about who done it, but nothing was ever done.
didn't they leave him in the middle of west hwy. 80 down around cainstore. u couldn't have been very old when this happened, because i was around 11 or 12 and i know i'm alot older than you.

I remember when Cody and his sister were murdered,I also remember that Somerset police called in the best DNA expert in the world,I can't remember his name but he was of Asian descent. He also investigated the OJ Simpson murder. There was also a forensic anthropologist involved.Nothing was ever discovered because the bodies and crime scene had been so desecrated that all evidence was destroyed. You have to ask yourselves who would mess with the crime scene, and why.

I remember the incident only too well. Henry Lee was not called in to participate in the "investigation". Good grief. The city and county put together could not/would not afford his fee. The man is a world class forensic expert and his fees are extremely high. The incident was not supposed to be solved.

You're right his name was Henry Lee and he was called in to investigate.Check the archives of the Commonwealth Journal and the Courier Journal, you will find the info on the whole murder investigation.Or lack there of.

Thank you for correcting my false statement (unintentional). Boy, you would think I would remember that sort of detail. Consider it a senior moment. Have a good day.

angela, I was really sad to hear your mother recently passed away, she was always a beautiful lady. I went to school with your dad for awhile, and I met your mother ,you were maybe 5 or 6 months old then. They really loved each other anyone could see that, your dad was always a true friend to me and I remember when he was murdered and it was a clear case of murder. And yes they all walked free and all are still out there free, but one day they will have to answer to god for thier crime. You just take care and try to hang in there, because I know thats what your mom and dad would've both wanted.

I have put together a little packet and mailed it to Americas Most Wanted.

I know they get thousands of cases a week but if they do not respond I will just keep mailing them in until they do.

If you would like copies of what I have sent in just let me know and you can send them in as well. Maybe if a lot of people send them in they will get noticed.

this case is still open and will always be open.
what you also must realize is the current sheriff and coroner were not in office at that time and alot of information was not turned over to them from former office holders. i have heard they have shared what info they have on this case and
this case is important to them as all other cases
still pending. there has not been any unsolved murder cases since they have taken office and team work has helped in quickly solving these cases, unlike before when politics got in the way.
they share all information and assit each other to work for the good of the county. who, why, when, and where this act took place is something we may never know, but whom ever did this, will answer for thier crime to god. but the officials are aware of these murders and have not forgotten
the two souls that was so wrongfuly slain in thier youth.

well I get pretty depressed about this but getting on here everyday to check for new comments doesnt really help either this just goes nowhere ya'll say the same thing over and over again. So yea this case aint never getting solved idk why I still cry myself to sleep pretty much everynight its just useless nobodys getting arrested and God forgives people so case closed. And dont get me wrong, if my mom was still alive today I'd forgive for the lifestyle I had to live and what me and Cody went through. She was human everybody makes mistakes and really it wasnt her fault the way she had to live and poor Cody I dont know what in the hell was going through the murderers mind at the time they took his life he was a child 4 f*cking years old. Who would do such horrible things like that to them? Well thats a question we'll never know. I mean yeah everybody has their opinions and rumors but does that help anything? I have my opinions too and I think this will never be solved because the law and sh*t like that just doesnt care.

i heard that the boys died on drugs, and i know it is true, law enforcement didnt have anything to do with this one, but a guy in parkers lake ky, named rick corder sold them the drugs, he (rick corder) is the biggest dope dealer in mccreary county, several people who worked for corder at the time thi happened says that those boys had just left rick corders junk yard, which is located next door to the parkers lake post office. why doesnt someone check corder out??????
is this the guy that is in a wheel chair? if so i know where that place is and i've heard he deals alot of drugs and uses the junk yard as a cover up.

Freddie NEIKIRK is my second cousin and I'll say this,he is just as crooked as his older brother Homer was.Homer was married to a wonderful woman, Opal Denny Neikirk, both are now deceased.Homer cheated his own wifes people on a land deal down in Wayne Co.
I don't know anything about any drugs but how about his supply of alcohol and porn that I hear he keeps.Of course this is only speculation,to some.

Undoubtedly, the four year old was killed because the murderer did not want to leave a wittness behind.
