You maybe be right, but straight talk doesn't need an internet to use, correct me if am wrong?
See couple of videos through youtube:

Although, CONS: can't use PO Box address, you need to refill $ 15/month or auto charge to your cc/dc...

Have a family plan with AT&T, I'm thinking about changing to straight talk will I still be able to talk with them without additional charges on me or them? That's my question

Sup, KY. To answer your question, you have to have your old bill, and have some numbers off of it, along with your SSN and address the EXACT way it is listed on your bill, along with your NAME the EXACT way it is on your bill or how it is registered with your phone company (ATT/Bellsouth/etc.). Then, either call straight talk or go online and fill it all in. I did it online, and the rest was automatic. Less than 24 hours later our number had been ported to StraightTalk. It's awesome. It may be too late for you to have your number ported. It has to be ACTIVE at the same time.

I'm trying to port my straight talk number to COX, but after numerous calls to Bangladesh, have been unable to get an account number for my straight talk account that COX can use to access the number/account. Anybody experienced anything like this?

I did purchase this item ,and have it for about 8 to 10 months .Just some FYI straight talk can change TERMS and CONDITIONS when ever they want ,so each time you buy a new activation card make sure you check TERMS and CONDITIONS on there web site could be changed from 30 days ago.FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY

Straight talk is horrible. They transferred the wrong phone number to my account. They have no idea how to fix the problem and tell me to re-activate my phone with AT&T and then call them again. Their customer service has NO IDEA whatsoever how to handle any problem. Probably will have to cancel the service because I can't get the same number from them.

Not the same, OOMA needs a highspeed internet connection, it is VOIP, voice over Internet protocol, the advantage of Straight Talk is that those with limited Internet or no Internet can use it.

Do not waste you money on straight talk if you live in Kentucky. Driving from Bowling Green on 65 to Louisville there is abolutely no service. We stopped at Walmart as we thought something was wrong with our phone. He said there is no service in this area so my question is what good is this service. If we have a breakdown the phone is absolutely worthless. I am calling them when I get home and believe me I give them a 1000 a year for two phones, I am going to shop around. this is not acceptable believe me.
