If he was gonna be indicted it would have already happened, this supposely has been going on for some time from what people have posted on here, I can remember even back when he first got elected to office people were wanting to impeach him, some were wanting him to be indicted and so far after all these years nothing has happened and more than likely won't happen.

I could never support a man like him, you have to tell him no or not give him something he wants and then you will see his true colors. He is not a good person.

He's a great Mayor, Somerset would be lost without him, the Council would have no one to direct them and the taxpayers wouldn't save that 20 bucks a year on property taxes, he has done alot for the City and has helped most people out in some way or another, alot of businesses and contractors have done better under him than any other Mayor, also some employees have done great, so they should be happy, just a great Mayor!!!!!

I like that he came up with the idea of selling gas to the citizens of Pulaski County. I do believe it has brought the prive of gas down.

I do not like the Mayor's policies as I believe they go against the very grain of capitalism. I do not like being gouged by local businessmen either. But the fix is not the government opening a station with cheap prices. Rather the fix is with a private citizen or company opening a station and undercutting the competition forcing the prices to lower. No private citizen or company has been willing to come forward willing to take on the controversy associated with undercutting the fat cats. Their lack of willingness to come forward and push their way through in a private market shows the lack of business and marketing skills we have in our local private sector. Regardless the government needs to be out of the market place period.

I do not like the way the Mayor uses his power. It is his way or the highway. While some may admire that quality, it usually does not end well.

Regardless, the city voters have voted him in so they obviously approve of the job he is doing.

How doesn't it end well? In fact, every time the city has done something, we get county people saying "this isn't going to end well!" And lo and behold, they're proven wrong every time.

Somerset voted in alcohol sales. County churches banded together and made all types of predictions of bad outcomes. Did they occur? Nope.

Same with gasoline. All kinds of predictions of a broken marketplace and local businesses suffering, layoffs, closing their doors. Has any of this happened? Nope. Every gas station that was open prior to the city gas station is still open today. Apparently doing pretty well, enough so that investors from overseas come here to purchase them as investments all the time.

This is why everyone balked at the unification plan brought forth by the Chamber of Commerce and the SPCU. We'd have all kinds of "County Guys" totally screwing up the city.

Girdler is the WORST. For example, the city's bond rating has gone down because of his poor fiscal judgement
