Mind your own business, if any of this was ANY of your business you would already know and would not be on here posting this garbage. Your posting this is so disrespectful to the people that have been affected.

Social sites are not for this type of garbage. I hope you don't ever have to suffer pain caused by trash like this on your social sites. There are some things in life that just are not social, and this is one of them. I am minding my business, sounds like you should follow your own advice and mind yours. Obituaries don't give details of a person's demise. And neither should your social site....have a good night.

Well.....you aren't minding YOUR own business, so why should anyone else. You have to be reading the "garbage", which is almost as bad as posting the garbage. See what I'm sayin.

So you mean to tell me, that you never speak of death in any shape, form or fashion with other people? Is that what you are saying? Only thing the person asked was who it was.

Sure I speak of death and also with other people, but I can assure you that I do not,nor will I ever, get on a "social site" and gossip about it,telling all the details of it. I am on this site the same as you and my opinion means as much to me as yours does to you. But my reasons for being on this site are not to have a conversation about someones death. And I see nowhere in 'the persons' post where they ask who it was. They were inquiring about what happened. Why so defensive anyway? Because you don't have the details and no one will share them with you? And may you also have a good night!

People wouldn't gossip if PC had a responsible media outlet that reported the facts rather than ignoring and covering them up.

This type of silence is just another form of oppression. It encourages corruption and abuse and distrust within the community.

I've lived a lot of places and when there was a suicide it got reported in the press. Its strange that in PC you rarely here about suicide from sources other than gossip.

You'd never know that in Kentucky suicide is the second leading cause of death and Kentucky has the 12th highest suicide rate in the nation.

You cannot fix problems you are unwilling to discuss!!!

My question to you is...WHAT BUSINESS IS IT OF YOURS HOW SOMEONE HAS DIED? Do you make it a practice when you go to a funeral visit to ask (if you already don't know) "oh how did they die", and if you don't even know them, such as in this case, why do you care? whats newsworthy of suicide? GOSSIP And news flash, don't know where you have lived that reported suicides, but i have lived in some big cities, they dont report it either. Got a project for ya, make a listing of all your family members that are deceased and post it on here and how they died, thats some great gossip and talk there to get us started!!

There are multiple reasons for our media's silence. One the paper tends to be controled by the City and County governments. Its more about propoganda than accurate information let alone truth or integrity.

As for moral issues like drug abuse, suicide, teen pregnancy etc... It would be disrespectful or humiliating to discuss reality in such a "god fearing county". Its easier to just sweep it under the rug.

How ignorant are you? Its no secret if someone gets murdered, dies in a car wreck or of natural causes. Why should suicide or drug overdose be any different?

What's newsworthy of suicide? Nothing on an individual level but as a community it is very important. It helps identify problems within communities. Covering it up could very easily be more harmful to everyone overall. Knowing "who did it" isn't so important but knowing they did and why they did is very important.

e.g. the recent increase in teen suicide due to bullying.

Knowing the facts help us as a society identify and confront our problems. Knowing the facts can help save lives!

So did the screen door hit you in the azz on the way out to go see what you could do to help this problem, i doubt it....like the rest of them, all talk and no action, just another nosey gossip queen.
