The Humane Society has some beautiful kittens at PetSense. They aren't free , but they have been treated for fleas and worm, have had basic shots and the price covers getting them fixed when they are old enough. Much better than a "free kitten".

Yep..I'm sure theyre still available and full of fleas and worms. Please please please get them vet checked and all of their shots ..then pay the fee to have them spayed. pet ownership needs to be done by responsible people with the financial means to take care of the pet they get. A FREE kitten is a good idea ONLY if you get it the care it needs to be healthy and remain that way and that costs money. Leaving it outside not spayed will just breed more little unwanted cats.

Yes this is all true! Also, what if they want the 'free' kitten to feed their snake?? Oh, People! Don't breed or buy while Shelter animals die! Also, consider the cost. A 'free' kit will end up costing a couple hundred bucks (if you love/care for it) A Humane Society kit is around $75, all done. Please adopt!
