Anyone know about any coupons for the season passes to Somersplash waterpark? I was getting ready to buy them online and its giving me the option of entering a "promo code" so now I am curious.(FYI:anyone interested in getting a pass, don't put it off til last minute: the price goes up from $50 to $60 on April 1)

you may want to get better freinds closer to the Mayor and City Council, soon there will be the "who you know promotion". Don't need to spend a dime if you know the right person.

Might want to check on the promotion of vote no too, probably a few hand out tickets are hitting the street.

Promo Code: unethical

Enter that at any Somerset area attraction and receive one substantial discount inexchange for your soul and/or vote.

I here certain people are going to be watching waterpark passes given out this time during the election time, i wouldn't want to be any councilman that receives one or hands them out.

From the paper today, sounds like all you have to do is go ask for one from the right person and you can save yourself 60 bucks. Bunches given out with no accountability? Does anyone else see a problem with this?

Looks like the water park should be free this year if Somerset goes wet. The money will be rolling in . Maybe RTEC can do shuttles to the skate park also.

If that's the case, take the tickets and vote yes.

I wonder how come Eastham got free tickets and Rutherford and Minton didn't? Can this council person not afford to buy his own tickets? If they get them and give them out to their family and friends, i am sure some are given out to voters, then every citizen of the city of Somerset should be able to use that park for free!!!! Keep it fair!

I think the mayor can give out as many passes as he wants and to whom he wants. That is part of being the boss. When he was elected he said that the waterpark was broke. But it is now in good condition and can give lots of free passes out. Great Job !!!

Now where do you get thoses free passes ??????

The mayor, he hands them out like a old woman farts. Just go promise to kiss his butt and idolize him and the passes are yours!

No one cares who gets free passes. The federal government has already showed us that. It's nothing to anyone except a freebee from a crooked official. Really who cares except the people that get the passes?? Only in America.

I dont think there is a problem. I think there are far more important things to worry about than who gets a free waterpark pass. Even with a free pass they may spend at the concession stand or book a party. Who knows...
As long as it is making money, let the kids have some fun and enjoy their summer.

I think we are talking about 1500 passes a year Wendy. That's like almost $1000,000. Not just giving a few away. Also it was an election year in 2010.
