Yeah, the truth hurts.

It appears that you don't know what you're talking about. I know this for a fact. That's a stupid thing to say anyway.

One man's "history" is another man's mythology. Do you take the Iliad, or the tales of King Arthur as "history" too?

The fact that your filthy religion is a part of history doesn't mean that it should be practiced today. Islam is part of history too and Mormonism, Mithraism and Zoroastrianism.

Ijust watched a video where in 2012 Christians in Dearborn mi .were having a rally and Muslims sent their children, about 200 of them to the front to throw bottles of urine and rocks and concrete at the Christians while the adults stayed in the back.the christians did not throw anything back at them.the cops made the Christians leave the area under police escort and then more cops pulled over the driver and cited him for having too many people in the church van.theres your religion of peace.

Well, that video is not exactly what it's been edited to seem. No excuse for violence of any degree, but you need to read about what really happened. http://www.patheos.com/blogs/christandpopcult...

I would never call athiesism or any other belief "filthy". You again have shown what a worthless pos you truly are.

And you believe everything you read?ive been incited to commit violence before but I never commited any.and there happened to be a pile of rocks nearby and chunks of concrete available for Muslim use.how convienient ,in a neighborhood as most neighborhoods are in Michigan that have zoning laws about debri and trash lying in the streets.ive read articles from both sides and not just one article to support my opinion of what went on.

This warning against self-righteousness is actually one of the text determined by biblical scholars to have a very high probability of being something Jesus actually said. Much of the other sayings attributed to Jesuscome from regional folkways and inventions by early members of the church

I believe this text is at the very heart of what He actually taught

Christianity teaches that we are all born wretched sinners, owning an apology for decisions made, without our consent, thousands of years ago. But before we can be redeemed for the crime of being born, God decided that a human sacrifice was necessary.

Atheism is a rejection of this degrading filth, so yes, it would be silly to compare the two.

that was to inform persons who are thoughtful, positive, and interested in ethics. I did not expect much of a response or contribution from most people on topix, since even many of the smarter ones seem to be more interested in arguments with the idiots than in making positive suggestions. It is easier for me to look for the wisest ones if I invite them onto a less used thread. you, of course, are free to ignore it.
