There were no facts, merely erroneous statements.

If the government says it is bad, that is all they need,or the preacher says it is wrong. Some people think if the doctor gives it to you it is ok,and legal(pills). It is ok to be a druggie as long as the government and doctors says it is ok.
I think by by now you understand my position on this. EVERYBODY LIES! I believe nothing anyone says till I've verified it myself. That being said I'm far more inclined to believe my doctor about what meds I should take than someone on topix.

The facts I was referring to have been posted on topix many times.
The decision to take what you want ,is a personal decision.I personally don't care what you take.I do not take a pill just because a doctor tells me to.
for a clear thinker. Why do you let a doctor make hard decisions for you?I question all the medications that are prescribed.
Happy pill day to you.

I'm actually for legal, well un illegalizing, it. It's far less destructive than alcohol, but even that's no reason to change it's status. The fact is we'll never control it, it's easier to grow than alcohol is to make, and prohibition was an abject failure. We're wasting too much money fighting an unwinable war.

I'm no expert by any measure, but side effects would be the obvious, primarily lethargy, secondarily lung damage. Each generation of kids has fewer individuals that care about anything other than themselves, if they also smoke that number decreases dramatically. Why worry about going to college, getting a job etc if all you need to feel good about yourself is smoke a joint? This country is already doomed by this problem among others, I fear legalizing it will just accelerate the end.

So marijuana should still be in the same category as LSD and PCP, schedule 1, and there is no reason to change it?

Considering that the federal government lists cocaine and heroin as less harmful than marijuana, schedule 2, don't you think that's a damn good reason to change the status on weed?

Or is marijuana really worse than heroin?

I made no comparisons to cocaine or heroin. Obviously it absolutely should NOT be listed the same. If this is truly the case somebody had their hat on too tight when they created that ‘list’.

Should we at least get to vote on it. They could at least let people grow 4 plants per year. I mean is it really that bad? Id rather smoke for my nerves than take a nerv pill. Oh but the gov makes money on pills tho. And I have never herd of anyone dying on weed, n that's bc god created for us to smoke in to enjoy the effects. Thank you god for creating weed your the best ;)

I think what BM Was refering to ,the status is in the same classification as LSD .It is considered a class one drug.Cocaine is considered less dangerous,by the government.

I know you didn't, but when you said that there was no reason to change marijuana's status, I think you like many were unaware of what that status truly was.

According to the federal government, marijuana is just as bad as PCP and LSD, and they consider it worse than heroin and cocaine. Nuts, ain't it?

It's especially bad given how selectively they enforce their own laws. For the most part they let the marijuana black market flourish, but every once in a while(multiple times a year) they throw the book at someone who ends up spending 20 years in some federal prison for marijuana possession. Federal attorneys don't dick around either, they'll offer a deal of 5 years plus forfeit every dollar and asset you own or do a hard 20 if convicted. There ain't no parole or good time benefits either, 5 years is 5 years.

Those choppers they put in the sky every summer,it cost $5ooo an hour Per chopper. For What?
2 years ago there were three choppers flying around our neighbor for over an hour. They would fly real low,and pop over the trees like they were in the jungles, looking for an enemy.

I have a friend, Vietnam vet, over in SE KY who has flashbacks every time they buzz his house, which they do every year.

Supposedly the new federal budget cut marijuana eradication funding by 70% in Kentucky and moved it over to Arizona, New Mexico, and California. Good, let them cut down the Mexicans' weed for a while.

They all are. Anyone who works for a living is selling themselves to some degree.

The longer a politician is in office, the more his vote is sold. However, I will say some try to only dip their toes in the shallow end while others dive into the deep end.

XD

Seriously though, if it's a wireless router might want to be sure to go in and change the default passwords on your WEP or preferably WPA. Also turn off your SSID broadcast and other people won't even be able to see your network, but you'll need to know the SSID and enter it manually in any device you want to connect.

For even more security, configure a whitelist on the router for the MAC addresses of your devices.
