RJ Corman isn't all that wonderful. A family member was seriously injured while on the job a few years ago and he wasn't treated all that great even though he has worked there for nearly 10 years. He is away from home all the time and loves his job. He was shocked when they tried to make him come back to work before the doctors wanted him too and then RJ offered him a cheesy settlement (he lost a limb). He went back to work and gives 100% even though he is dismembered for life. And as secretive as RJ and his right hand men - I can't imagine the boat is for his employees.

I know his President of the company is named Tammy T but why did he name it after her are they married? Also why did he chose Laurel and not Cumberland? I like Laurel much better but with a huge houseboat like that would have thought Cumberland would have got it?

Good news from Nicholasville! Rick has just completed his follow-up PET/CT scan to check for resistant
cancer cells and the scan showed no active cancer. He had a little scare last week with some pain near
his left hip but the MRI showed that the pain was from a torn muscle and Rick is not allowed to run for two
more weeks. This was unrelated to cancer except that the radiation probably made his muscle more likely
to get torn with hard running. Overall Rick is doing very well. He is still having some nerve injury side
effects from chemotherapy that are causing some pain in his legs.
Rick’s immune system is getting stronger and most of his special diet is no longer necessary. He has
been able to enjoy fresh vegetables from the garden that were previously off limits. He is also happy to be
able to eat in the cafeteria again. He still has to be careful to avoid germs when he is in a crowded area.
The next step is for Rick to have some nerve testing done at Harvard and then he will probably start some
mild chemotherapy called Revlimid that should help keep the cancer away.

I have been on that boat, it is more beautiful on the inside, absolutely amazing!! The hallway tiles are designed to look like railroad tracks, it is so cool. Biggest boat built to date, Sumerset Houseboats is the best:)

Because it is so very peaceful there, there are no houses to litter up the scenery.
