I saw the sign up today for Orange Leaf. I am so happy to see Somerset getting so many new businesses!

Thanks. They sure have WIDE assortment of flavors, I'd spend a lot of evenings there. Now I think I'll go and have some plain old Breyers chocolate ice cream.

The sign is up advertising that they are going to be in a tenant space and that there are other spaces available. It is on the west side of 27, across the intersection from Dan's Pawn Shop. (where you turn to go to the hospital).

I think it depends on the location. I was just in the one in Danville and it had about the same amount of choices as Twisted Pineapple. They have more fresh fruit topping choices but, Twisted Pineapple has cupcakes. I hope they both do well.
just wondering

Twisted pineapple is locally owned and conveniently located. I see another Baxters/Starbucks showdown. It will be interesting to watch. Personally, I vote twisted pineapple simply because it is in my new favorite shopping center.

Why do people support something locally owned then go vote Republican who supports huge companies and huge World Wide Businesses and BIG MONEY helping the 1% get even richer? its like saying I'm Christian! then going out and shooting a man while drunk! hypocrites!
anyway i hope both do well and i hope there is not another showdown like with Starbucks and Baxters that was just tacky and ugly and Baxters today has several branches serving decent not great coffee at a more expensive price! its just stupid! support a place because you like it and that reason only! or become a liberal tree hugger and have walmart shut down

I worked at Starbucks while it was here and I am so tired of the rumor that Baxters put us out of business. Baxters had no bearing on our success. In fact, while we were open, we were the number one store in sales in our district for a while. The company downsized stores that had been opened within a 6 month period and re-evaluated the decision to open in smaller cities. The corporate representatives that came down to inform us of the closing openly admitted that the decision was not based on sales whatsoever, but on operating costs because they realized they had opened far too many stores. So please can we put the idiotic "Baxters put Starbucks out of business" rumors to rest?
just wondering

Personally I vote republican so that I may once again be able to afford a cup of coffee house coffee instead of continuously paying for the food stamps and SSI benefits that a quarter of Somerset draws. Entitlement programs continue to erode our country and democrats will not address the issue.

The location at Langdon and 27 is, "An Accident Waiting To Happen."

It was a pain to exit when it was a Gasoline Service Station.

The good news is, that it's only 1 block from the Hospital Emergency Room.

Corporate entitlements per year are many times greater in one year, than those you speak of in ten, this is a fact. Not only that, they do not, and will not pay any taxes, by hiding their money away on foreign accounts, pay attorneys as much, if not more than what the taxes would be. I guess it is ok for the poor to be slaughtered in war, as long as they are not hurt too bad. You are an !d!0t
