Any ideas? Something other than just dinner and a movie is preferred.

Me and my girlfriend always like to make a bet on how many mullets are in Walmart on the first of the month when checks come in. We kind of make a game out of it. So far the record is 12, but we are only in there about 30 minutes so this is just a random sampling.

You could go for a walk through Rocky Hollow, or the trail by SCC which is really nice. You could go Mountain Biking on the new trail at PC Park. You could walk the docks at Lee's Ford or Burnside. You could fish. You could bowl, which is pretty popular now that they have beer. If you go cosmic bowling (10 to 12 on weekends), get there early. You could hit some of the bars for live music. Faubush Hill is usually playing either in Burnside or Somerset and they are pretty good. You could play tennis, if either of you know how. You can get ice cream and sit at the airport while you watch planes take off and land. That's always fun. You could play frisbee golf at PC park or Rocky Hollow or just go play golf somewhere. Driving ranges are always fun. You could go tour a winery, like Cedar Creek, and do tastings, assuming you can drink wine. You could go take a karate class together. If you want to drive a little, go hike in the Big South Fork or ride the train from Stearns to Blue Heron. You could drive to Cumberland Falls or Wolfcreek Dam. You could get some lights and explore the Sloan's Valley cave system. Most people don't even know it's there. You could rent a boat or jet skis if the weather is nice.

There's more out there than you would think. Your community is what you make it.

it depends of what your date is like and what they enjoy doing their own self. theres a lot to do around here! specially if you love the outdoors and stuff. and now that we have drinks you can even try out the different places that sell. no more pink caddy as your only options.

its all good! once you get to know each other better you can go out of town if you want for a nice romantic weekend for sure. i never cared much for louisville my self but to each there own. i would rather go to memphis or knoxville if i was gonna go out of town and it aint that much farther of a drive from here when you do the math.

if you wanna stick closer to home then why not go to guthries in burnsides for dinner and sit out on the patio while you eat dinner? or go to one of the marinas and have a nice dinner while you watch the sunset on the water? or go to the water park in a few weeks?

or go to cumberland falls for a while and then take a long drive with a picnic basket?

then theres always the moves to. or the drive in on south 27. thats always fun and they do play new movies ever weekend. its not old reruns and stuff.

you could even rent a pontoon boat down at the burnsides marina for a half or whole day and then fish or swim and be all by yourselves! find a quiet cove and get to know each other better! take a basket of food and some drinks with you. now thats romantic! but be oh so careful if you drink alcohol cause they do patrol real good for boat dui.

there is a whole lot to do here but it depends on your attitude. its what you decide to make it and that dont matter where you are. you can have fun any where if you want to have fun!
