Hello,

I am looking for a good church that is encouraging and is mabey has allot of youth. I used to go to victory but they're to many clicks and they are extremely judgmental there and I've felt like an outcast there for awhile so I am looking for a church somewhere thats not so well like what I just stated. Anyone recommend a church?

East Somerset Baptist Church on Pumphouse Road across from Somersport Park has an awesome program for children and teens. Greg Thompson and Dustin Fenison are the youth ministers, and there's activities, events and services for all ages. Bible truths, worship, great music (Live Fish), fellowship and fun. You're invited and welcomed!!

Come join us at High Street Baptist Church. We have an excellent youth program led by Brad Gover. (He is doing wonders with our youth) We recently got a new preacher and he is real good has that down to earth feel about him but gets the word across. We would love to have you. Come on in

Okay...If you like a large church, Oak Hill Baptist is good. They have an early service at 9am with worship at 10am so you can get out early for lunch. They also have a large youth group led by an excellent youth pastor. If you're looking for a bit smaller church, Calvary Baptist Church, on East Mount Vernon Street, past the health department and Burton & Poynter Furniture, has an awesome youth program from toddler to seniors in high school. They do everything from childrens choir, drama, puppets, to interpretive movement. They also usually have a monthly mission project. The church is very mission minded and has alot of different Sunday School classes to choose from. Their Sunday School is at 10am and worship is at 11am. They also do dinner every Wednesday night at 6pm for everyone before classes start and Wednesday classes end at 8pm. High Street Baptist Church is also a very impressive church with an excellent youth program. They have recently just gotten a new preacher and you can check them out online for details on their service times.

If by "not so jucgemental" you mean "fire and brimsone" or "kids, music, other churches, and basically anyone with different views are evil and surely going to hell", then you should go to Oak Hill.

Camp Ground Baptist Church, on 1247 in Somerset, is a great church. We have a decent sized youth group that is led by a Godly team (husband & wife). I've been a member there for several years, and it's a wonderful place to be. Northside Baptist Church, in Science Hill, is also a great church. My friend is the Pastor there...wonderful church family.

Could you give us some more info about Camp Ground. What kind of people attend? Do they have a dress contest each week. Do they have many activities for the children? Do the children sit with their parents during the sermon or do they have their own youth pastor? Do they have social functions? Do they believe that women should never wear pants to church?

Fishing Creek Baptist Church is an awesome church.
The pastor is a great preacher. Little country church around 65 members. They are all like family. The church does alot of activities for the youth year round. We would love to have you come to our church. You should try some different churches and let God lead you where he wants you to be. Where you will get spiritually fed.

East Somerset is a cult!!! It's all about what you are wearing on Sunday morning...and those youth ministers will crucify you if you have ever made a mistake, and as a teen that is not helpful!!! I would definately not recommend this church, worship is not their top priority!

There is an array of ages that attend Camp Ground. No dress code, just come as you are. We don't have service to judge the best and worst dressed, we have service to worship and praise God. There are lots of activities for the children and youth. We are blessed with a wonderful Children's Department Director and Youth Ministers. I wear pants to church frequently, so if you are more comfortable in pants, wear them.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Libra

You have a tremendous amount of nervous energy today and you need to find positive ways of expressing it, otherwise it could make you rather irritable and restless. Ideally, you should do something physical, such as going for a brisk walk, cleaning the house while working up a sweat or getting your money's worth out of the gym. Don't take out your frustrations on people who don't deserve them.
