I hope this will reach the person that hit my car in the walmart parking lot. If you were a decent person which you are not you would have came inside and asked the person owning the red geo metro to please come to the service desk. But the coward that you are you decided to run. Remember that what you do in life will come back to you tenfold.

PPl have the decency to stand up and say hey I did something wrong and I am sorry. I am livid because you didn't have the courage. But I shouldn't be surprised in a world where you are either a stand up person or an ass. World is made up more of asses. It is too be expected. For a person like me that is an optimist and trying foolishly to believe that there are others that have some respect. Just remember Karma is a b--ch.

This happens all the time and I am afraid that you will probably never know who done it. I have seen people open their car doors on other cars or shove a shopping cart into them and walk away without a second glance. And of course they would do the same if they hit you when they backed up.

Have you checked with Walmart and ask if they might have caught anything on camera? I am just afraid you are out of luck. Not a whole lot of people going to let you know, they simply don't respect others possessions anymore. I'm sorry this happened and if it had been me I would have went back into the store or waited til you came out. We all know right from wrong, but doing it is a different story.

i was shocked when i heard this. to think that at walmart a place where hundreds of thousands pass through their doors everyday, and yet not one person saw anything. what a load of b/s. you need to check with the store and see if they caught it on tape cause their parking lot is under camera servaliance. i hope you had good ins so your car will be fixed and you get a rental while it is.

god bless

Wal Mart has cameras on the parking lot. Make a police report and ask them to review the footage from that day.

Bet me half the cameras or less are not working. I had a side mirror knocked off and hanging down, and I went inside to see if they had a tape of where I was parked, and they told me that no, only two were working and where I was parked was not covered. So you see I had to replace the mirror myself.

I am not surprised by this. A friend of mine had that happen to her car over there. Just today I heard of mugging over there. I avoid that place unless I just have, careful where
I park and never go alone. I think they are cheap not to have cameras with film, they have a long history of that.

It is a business and not Walmarts liability to what happens when you park in the lot, they only want your money before you leave. You had your car hit, it may surprise you how many cars are stolen in a year from their lots across America. There is people attacked as well. It is the risk you take when you go anywhere in America.
If you called law enforcement, they would write you a report for your insurance company to handle the damages, this would have been the same if the person stopped to tell you, it would be a no win situation for you whether you knew or not who did it.

Actually there is a law in KY that businesses are required to provide to fix personal property damaged on their lots or at least it was.

if they have it posted that you park at your own risk they aren't responsible for anything. But if they don't have it posted, it would be worth checking into. Although I am sure a big corp. like Wal-mart has already thought of all loopholes like that.
Hope you find who did it

It says Somerset, KY which means likely they are either Windstream DSL or New Wave cable both or which dynamic (changing often). Maybe even slow dial up which changes usually every time the browser is opened If that helps.

My wife's car was either hit at Wal mart in Somerset or kidsignment. Some idiot backed into it with their towball and took off!! Morons should know that there is a hitch sticking out a foot behind their vehicle!!! SOME People should not be allowed to drive big SUV's and large pickups, if you notice most of them can't even park them between the lines!!!!!

I used to work at Wal-mart, not the one in Somerset, in a manager's position, and you would be shocked at how many people get their cars hit in the parking lot. I'm just talking about by stray buggies. I remember one mother's day, I took six official complaints and 34 pictures of damage done by carts, or people with carts. It was a daily, almost hourly routine to have the police reviewing surveilance camera's of the parking lot, for hit and runs. People have no respect. I actually had an old lady pull in beside me, actually scratching the side of my vehicle with her mirror and hitting my car with the back of her caddilac resting against my car. She went in the store like nothing happened while I was trying to climb out the passenger side car. Then she came out and said she had no time to wait for the police. LOL. TOO OLD FOR THE ROAD!

Same thing happened to my truck in monticello in 2006 on march 10 at 1:30 am I was parked three spaces down on the row to the right as you come out the gm side.there was a camera pointed straight at my truck.i asked security and gave them the time and everything. They said they checked and there was no footage that showed anything.i know it was a red truck cause of how high the damage was on the door and the paint it left behind.

U can not make a police report for stuff that happens in the parking lot as it is private property and the cops will not respond
