Oh, and again, just what DID you do for the USPS to get paid under THEIR pension zipperhead? Tell us all,, you got nothing to hide, right? Well, other than the fact that you lied at one point or the other. You either lied previously about your occupation with the government and you were a postal worker, or you lied about who pqid your pension. Of course, this isn't surprising coming from such a partisan lackey. The fact is, if you're a Republican or Democrat politician, or you're a straight ticket pulling drone, by default you are a study in contradiction and lies. So enlighten us zipper, what did you do at the USPS, effectively ending this discussion.....all ears.

OK, so now you're comparing the U.K. Israel and the US with Iran??? We are more of a threat than Ahmadinejad? Sorry but, you are a fool and just lost whatever credibility you had. IRAN IS THE NUMBER 1 EXPORTER OF TERRORISM ON THE PLANET! And you're OK with them developing nuclear weapon technology to possibly use on Israel or at the very least to blackmail them? Your simple answer is to just leave everyone alone and we'll live in a utopia. Radical muslim states like Iran have sworn to destroy this country and either convert the world to their faith or kill those who resist. But, shying away from confrontation with those lunatics is your best answer???
If your beliefs exactly echo those of Ron Paul, I'm thankful we'll never have to worry about that goof being in any position of authority.
Wrong. lol! Iran has never bombed a country, Iran has never waged war on another, Iran doesn't build their military bases around other countries, etc. The United States does all three, on a regular basis. You must not know the definition of "terrorism". Terrorists are reactionary, they don't wake up one morning and want to do what they do. The United States has been OVER THERE, belligerently since 1953, when Eisenhower helped the U.K. screw a peaceful, democratic Iran over an oil deal. Please learn your history before you reply. lol!

Iran never developed nuclear technology. The United States Congress gave Halliburton the green light to SELL nuclear technology to Iran. It's like handing a child a cookie, then spanking them for eating it. WE are the enemies, not Iran.

Them being Muslim has NOTHING to do with it. Just more statist propaganda, like what Hitler did with the Slavs and Jews. I don't buy into your fear control. Christians have killed more people in the Middle East than Muslims have in all the world. Just because you VOTE for violence, does NOT absolve you from blame. And much of Arab war tactics was literally taught to them by the U.S. For example, suicide bombers in the Middle East didn't exist until the Gulf War.

You may remove foot from mouth.

Not wholly, he was a federal employee, so he paid in. The argument we were having was that the taxpayers didn't fund the contribution .....which is true IF you work for the USPS after 1982 (generate pensions from stamp sales). A couple yrs back, he told me he was in some sort of computer systems or data work for the fed.....not the USPS. That said, the CSRS is matched by the agency you work for and no other department ....which of course comes from taxpayers as most agencies don't generate revenue, right? They also paid no SS or OASDI while working for the fed. They don't have any SS benefits, but the OASDI is in effect. Bottom line, you now know why he is such a DNC suck***. Read the posts of mine on the previous pages. Then, watch him squirm as I paint him into the corner at every turn and he tries the ol politician trick of changing subjects and diverting attention. He's a good little DNC lapdog, just like those slobbering GOP lapdogs like Rush Limbaugh.

Oh joy, the other member of the Libertarian tag team is back. I shall dub you and JJ the Wit brothers. Kenny who supports Ron and Rand Paul will be known as Dim Wit, and JJ the Gary Johnson backer will be forever known as Nit Wit. Learn to read Dim, the taxpayers add nothing to my pension, but you knew that, or are you really that dense? Are you on the EIC draw like Nit?

The underlying fact is all government employees are paid with taxpayer's money. Whether they paid in anything is of no consequence. We're still paying for government employees at gunpoint.

So you worked for the USPS and not in data systems then? Because earlier, you said you woeked in data systems, which would not be covered by the USPS pension. I mean sh*t Zipper Olberman, I posted that info from the g***amn government website on pensions! It plainly states that the agency you worked for matched your pension input, and unless you worked for the USPS, your agency's contribution DID NOT come from stamp sales revenue, it's in plain black and white....even said part of any other pensions were taxpayer funded. So again, what did you do for the USPS to be a part of THEIR pension? Otherwise, you didn't draw from that pool, and you drew from one aided by tax dollars.....just as THE HOME PAGE FOR THE CSRS AND THE FERS PLAINLY STATES. Shall I quote the passage and put up the link AGAIN?

Nit, I don't recall ever telling you what I did at the post office. I do remember telling you that I worked as a radar mechanic while I was in the military. I'm sure you scoured the whole damn topix board today while you were doing nothing at work, to try and make your less than brilliant arguments hold up. It matters not what my position at the post office was, OPM sends me a check on the first of the month, whether you or Dim like it, or think I didn't earn it. I told you that the taxpayer did not support the pension I earned, and Nit Wit and Dim Wit will have to handle that truth. I also stated that I still pay taxes on the pension I earn, and that is fact also. Are Nit and Dim on the EIC draw as I speculate, or are you two of the few in Kentucky who don't draw? You don't care for my politics, and I could care less, because in this country I can vote for whomever I want, and how I want, and the Wit brothers will never change that fact as well. As a veteran of this country you rabble rousing anarchists make me vomit!

Killing innocent people across seas is NOT serving your country. Neither is working for the government, where my taxes pay your salary. Not to mention your salary to be a soldier of fortune. You cry for government, so don't make it seem like you haven't thrown yourself a fit. lol!

That's right, you never told you worked at the post office until just now. What was the big secret? You told me you did somethng for the US government that had to do with technology.....I don't understand what the cover up was. If you didn't want to catch flak about it, you should have been forthcoming. What's that your handlers say about "transparency"? LOL No, I didn't scour the whole topix board, lol....I just have a good memory, that's why I'm good at what I do at work.

Second, I never said you didn't pay into the CSRS....read the posts. I said your contributions were matched by the agency you worked for. Is that not, in fact, the truth? Now, if your contribution was matched by a federal government agency, it stands to reason that your pension was matched by taxpayer money since the fed relies on our taxes to operate, correct? Now, since you did (or so you say) work for the USPS, SOME of your money was generated by the selling of postage stamps, which in reality, is a tax on sending mail by definition, but I won't split hairs there.

Third, some of your pension was indeed matched by taxpayer money as I quoted above:

"The USPS in its current form runs like a business, relies on postage for revenue and, for the most part, has not used taxpayer money since 1982, when postage stamps became “products” instead of forms of taxation."

Two key phrases in that paragraph "FOR THE MOST PART" and "SINCE 1982". Tax monies have been used at some point or other to match your contribution....I don't understand why you're so defensive about it, it's just a cold, hard truth and the government website on federal employee retirement back that statement.

Fourth, why would you still pay taxes on your pension when it should have been taxed when you paid in? You may want to check on that, because from what I've read, you're getting double taxed. There was a stipulation on that, but I didn't read it closely enough to fully remember the details, so I won't comment on that further.

Fifth, I have thanked you for your service in the military before, so don't even try to go that route on me. My grandfathers fought in WWII, I've had relatives serve and friends that currently serve, and an inlaw that is in Afghanistan right now. I will NEVER hold what warhawks in government do against the men and women sworn to protect us who are doing their jobs. I could never serve, I fractured four vertebrae in a car wreck at seventeen. I now have arthritis in my lower four lumbar. It never stopped me from working, and like you, I get VERY angry when someone tells me they're "disabled" when they're clearly not. The only time I've ever drawn anything was two months of unemployment when an employer had to lay me off because my college schedule interfered with my work schedule. There was no way around them laying me off, and I had to do what I had to do as far as school went, so they graciously told me to file. I found a night shift job and carried on.

There are some hard truths to swallow when it comes to American interventions around the world. As a former soldier it's sometimes hard to lay down your patriotic ideals, sometimes easier. To say that Christians have killed..., is not accurate. Governments have killed under the guise of Christianity. Governments and politicians have and will use any kind of justification for their actions.
My admonishment to Kenny would be, to be careful when exposing propaganda that you don't turn it into another kind of propaganda.

There is a vast difference in the big political machine that uses a Christian facade and the small local bodies of Bible believers that we call churches. Do not knowingly throw common Christians in with the governmemt malfeasance in an attempt to stigmatize Christianity for the purpose of agnostic propaganda.
You only become the thing that you say you hate.

You are correct in your assessment that it is government who does the violence. But who supports that violence? Christians and atheists, both, do. I'm not saying it's because of their faiths that make them support government. But Muslims aren't different, they do what they do for reasons outside their faith - like defending their lands and families.

This is EXACTLY right. This is what makes me loathe the Republican party so much. They use God to get votes, and, unfortunately, people are gullible enough to swallow it. Just like folks are gullible enough to swallow the DNC's "working man" BS. To me, using God is FAR worse. These pukes in the GOP are no better than Jim Bakker, maybe worse.

Weren't you the one admonishing someone is on the draw with a pension from our government, teat correct? Yes Nit, I still make enough money to pay taxes, although my contribution to my pension is written off on a yearly basis. How does that makes sense? Had you been employed with an honest-to-god business, you wouldn't be paid with taxpayers dollars. I take it you never took an economics or finance course. lol!

You're just trying to explain away and backtrack the undeniable fact you have sucking on the government teet, paid for by actual hard-working people, for most of your life.

I agree, It's just a matter of what group of people they choose to lie to. I'm working through some of Kenny's ideology, but I need to work it into a realistic, achievable model, in my own mind.

Like yourself I can't support either side of the duopoly as a whole.
A viable third party will need a near perfect message to ever garner enough public support to ever take hold.
We the people will have to refine that message and then push it through. I'm encouraged by what I read on this forum because in the end I think we are more alike than our government would like to believe. We have to resist being manipulated and we have to resist being divided.
