Are they up and operating yet? It seems like it's been slow getting started. I interviewed, but guess I was picked over, even though I had experience. Just curious...

I am currently working at Safe Auto here in Somerset,it is a great place to work. There is a lot of opportunity to grow and advance within the company...and unlike other local contact centers, safe auto's pay/salary is above average ... Good luck!

I really wanted a job there, not sure why I wasn't hired. I have call center experience and good references. Are they still hiring?

If you have call center experience and cant get on at SafeAuto you might want to try HSBC over in London. I work there and love it. The pay is good and has really good benefits. It only takes me about 35 min. to get there and to me it's worth the drive.

It is not through a temp service, as far as I know, you still have to submit an application at the unemployment office downtown.

I applied there once and got invited to a job fair, but the job they were interested in for me was collections, and I have no desire to do that. Do they have regular CSR positions too?

To my knowledge they dont have any CSR positions. I work in collections and it is hard, especially the way things are today. But I would keep trying at SafeAuto if I were you, sounds to me that you would be good at it. Good Luck!!!

The pay depends on which department you work in...either sales or csd....SA offers great shift diffs for working second shift and weekends... furhermore in sales you receive and hourly rate plus commission.

I'm waiting to hopefully get on there. From what I was told they don't have the greatest method of hiring people though. Take a stack of applications and instead of going through them all and hiring the best, just taking the first however many in the stack that seem to fit the bill. If yours is near the bottom it may be awhile. I was one of the first hires and at that time it didn't work out because of the hours and they told me to re-apply after they were open for awhile and more flexible. I figured that wouldn't take long as they grew since I was a first choice to begin with but I am still waiting.

I worked there, it is a great place to work. They have flexible hours, great pay and benefits, and plus the people that work there are awesome. I'm hopefully gonna go back after the first of the year. And yes they do drug test. You have to go to Danville and pee in a cup. They will be hiring a lot more people after the first of the year.

They send it off. They seal it and you have to sign all kinds of paper work. Totally sucks that you have to drive all that way just to pee in a cup but oh well.

THEY ARE LOCATED ON 461 IN ONE OF THE FACTORIES LOCATED ON THE LEFT GOING OUT 461 TOWARD MT VERNON. THEY ARE THE SECOND BUILDING ON THE RIGHT
IN THE BACK OF THE BUILDING...AS FAR AS I KNOW THEY ARE HIRING FOR 2ND SHIFT ONLY RIGHT NOW.
YOU GO THERE AND FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AND THEN
TEST AND INTERVIEW THEN THEY SEND YOU TO THE COLLEGE FOR TRAINING FOR 2 1/2 DAYS. THEN YOU TAKE A TEST TO BE ABLE TO SELL INSURANCE.
