They were blowing to much gov. Money on private catering. Come on 10,000 for Alaska King Crab to be flown in for the upper staff? Let alone the catering worth over at least 25 thou and. what about the private home for meetings that cosy at least 30 thou . Triple and triple these the money was not for the disabled clients it was for the upper parting staff . I just wonder how many big. Screen tvs were taken home by these staff members? To much money greed lost honest people their jobs and forced the disabled who has been living there since they were children. Shame on you Pews of Oakwood. and the head dietiction. and the food director GREED

Not sure where you people get your information from. There is so much on this made up. Flown in Alaska King Crab?? Really?? Come on now, you know that is not true. Very easy for you all to post what ever BS that you can come up with in your little minds. Maybe you all should be fiction story book writers, your stories are all pure fiction.

Why aren't the residents there kept thereinstead of putting them out in neighborhood homes. Costs the tappayers a lot of money. It seems it's a matter if some here and some there. Scatter them about. WHY>

If that were a private agency getting Medicaid funds a criminal investigation would be launched and people would be going to jail.

There's two houses in my area with these people. Oakwood just got a good rating for that type of facility. AND this is after they let so many employees go. HMMMM; How would you like to hear screams that sound like a woman in terrible distress or a wildcat about 3:00 P.M. everyday. It scared my young niece one day when she was visiting. All of us want them taken care of but A lot of them don't know a house from Oakwood sure you'd rather not have them next door.

"these people"... that really said it all didnt it? "scared my niece"? maybe they arent human after aLL. Heaven forbid she have a natural feeling. Did you not explain the situation to her? the dog next door scared my daughter one time by whinning and crying. she ended up feeling sorry for the dog..to bad you didnt explain the situation to your niece..she might have ended up feeling sorry(at least compassion) for "those people". sad..so sad..

i know nothing of alaskan king crab being flown in for the upper management, however feeding the facility director's wife and the case mangers constantly cannot be disputed. too many deliveries of food to their "meetings" to even begin to count. wasted money, yes.

Well the food they feed the clients and staff is horrid. Even when they do the catered dinners for the staff the food isn't edible. Get mine then throw it in the trash on the way out the door.

The group home clients come of the morning and the only way to know if they have eaten is the food left on their face and/or cloths. I could go on and on about how bad the group homes are but it won't change things. These very special people deserve the best life they can have their not here just so somebody can use them to make money.

I know for a FACT about the excessive amount of food ordered for these "meetings" because I was directed by my supervisor to order due to that department not wanting it to appear on their budget. And partly to their incompetencies as well!
