Well, at least my viewpoint is backed up by historical evidence, which is more than I can say about the opposition.

How can anyone dismiss the pantheon of the Greeks and Romans but still believe that their particular myth is true?

I'm merely making this point because too many people in the psychiatric profession rely upon the idea that they're operating on some edict from an imaginary source. Who therapies the therapists? They're obviously in need of it if they come into a discussion about how poorly Adanta is doing and start quoting verses from their favorite bit of literature.

It starts here, but who's to say that these failings are not intentional, based on the belief that their god made their patients this way for a reason and that treating them is against his will? It might sound far fetched, but in the mind of a fanatic, anything can sound reasonable.

Sir, I am wounded by your razor sharp wit. The sheer tenacity with which you back up your arguments is just too overwhelming. Not to mention how eloquently you conduct your intellectual thrust and parry... I just don't know if I can continue in the face of such an adversary.

Or, you could repeat yourself over and over. I've met parrots with a larger repertoire.

I am truly overwhelmed by your massive intellect. I am in awe of your presence among us....But you're still a nut job.

My child has a therapist through Adanta and we have seen nothing but GREAT results...You have to keep in mind that with each child being so different though sometimes diagnosed with the same symptoms can be challenging even for a professional. It takes time to know how to specifically reach into that individuals mind and physical needs in order to get them on the right path. Alot of times it's lack of communication because some parents just want to dump their kid off there while they go somewhere else and think when they come back to pick the child up they should be "normal" and ready to go...Patience is a gift that parents should utilize in this situation. This child isn't going to "change" over night...so PLEASE give credit to the therepist and to the child and praise them both as the changes start to appear! The worst thing your child needs is to see you as the parent going against the therepist...that could really rebound some issues witht he child...

My son used to be seen by Dr. Lakiahni. I didnt care for him at all. My sons counselor was Kathy Clark she was awesome with him and for some reason she is no longer there either. What is going on? How are these kids suppose to get stable help if there councselors and therapists keep leaving? As for the other doctors there, I didnt know there was more than one Pediatric therapist. I dont have anything bad to say about the employees everyone there was always nice to us. But I switched my son to Dr. Umar. I realy like him so far.
i liked Dr. Lakiahni...but you are right about these kids not getting stable help if all these councselors and dr.s keep leaving or whatever they are doing. i switched my daughter from umar to adanta..i did not like dr. umar!!

I think I am getting that impression also. I have took my son there once, someone was suppose to call back, well no one did, then I have called several times and telling them how much I need help due to school issues.. and no help there either. Can anyone tell me where I can go and actually get help?

Better check your facts. Your getting close to Slander.
Don't forget what happened to the four top people in State Gov. who enginerred the problems , why they did it and who benefitted.
Read the unaltered audits before you judge, also the Federal Register to find out what was legal and what was not.
I would really like to know that part of the truth that I missed out on.

I really don't feel that bad about your comments, just want you to get the facts straight.

We are a non-profit organization who feeds on the low income mentally disturbed and mentally retarded. Our CEO obviously has no new ideas and really doesn't give s&*$. We have chased all of the other accredited mental organizations out of the Lake cumberland area because we could. We will not ever allow you to file a grievance because our Ombudsman is in bed with our CEO. If you are a rich mentally disturbed person we welcome you. Perhaps when your done paying for the treatment that you have received here at Adanta, we will fix you up with UK hospital for treatment of your failed suicide attempt, because we know you'll try it. We only have a limited amount of licensed therapists because we fired all the competant ones. So if your looking for a quick fix for DUI school your better off moving out of state and dealing with Arkansas's DUI law. Hell even crossbread shrinks are better than us on all mental issues. Our CEO is currently at cocktail lunch with her crack head hunsband who apparantly knows someone high up so we don't get investigated because the s&i@ we get away with is far more criminal than any woman CEO could get away with. So here at ADANTA we would rather call this the MISLEAD statement but as a non-profit organization who only makes profit we will just call it our Mission Statement. Hell we truly have no idea what were doing. Just see a shrink if you have a problem with it.
adanta is here to help the people that needs it and some that wants the help ya'll need the help truly because obviously ya'll dont know what adanta is about so i am in adanta and i know what its like yeah they work over hours and spend more time here than they do at home but they do that out of the goodness of their hearts. so ya'll need to chill
out and think about what u are saying unless u know what your saying. find something else to talk about unless u work for adanta.

Out of 5 scheduled appointments, I recieved either a letter or a phone call rescheduling or cancelling 4 of them. And it's a shame that with all of the mental health issues and addiction in this area that Adanta is pretty much the only option for help. Seems like it would be impossible for a company that can't even help themselves to help other people.
