Thinking about moving to Nancy eh??
Here's some advice,
Buy a gun, pit bull, 4 wheel drive, sign up for food stamps, start doin your step daughter, make some meth, get a bunch of tattoos, have your teeth pulled, take the wheels off your home and you will fit right in.

I live outside of Nancy. I like living out here. There is bad and good people everywhere you go. I am fortunate enough not to have many neighbors, just a deacon and his family across the road, my inlaws to the east and nothing but fields to the west all the way to the county line. It is a bit of a drive into town but I like it that way.

Yes, Ive been living in Nancy since I was in 2nd grade (Now in 8th).
-Very kid friendly
-Near the lake
-Private
-You wont be so close you your nieghbors your can hear everything there doing. Other than the occasiounal arguement and/or gun fight.
-School is P-5
-If someone comes on your land you can shoot them.

What else is better than shooting people in Nancy? I dont think there is anything.
lol

Why take the wheels off ?- You wont be able to move it every time you dig a new toilet pit - You dummy - You'll end up pooping in the front yard - We do that in Burnside , but not in Nancy - Better leave them wheels on unless you can trade them for something to put on the truck - Gotta go , here comes my neighbors tryin' to topple my front out house again - Got one out back too - This here is a two bathroom neighborhood - Merry Christmas ,y'all -

My guess would be that they've never had to work for anything and weren't jerked up by the hair of their heads like honest country folks.

i lived in nancy 28yrs, lived in somerset 2 and they dont even compare. in nancy you can leave your door unlocked and let your children play in the yard without fear of some druggie or childnapper. and i belive alot of nancy folk are farmers who make enough money they dont need foodstamps like you stated., so please dont knock nancy because just remember, kentucky has a bad enough sterotype as it is.

I love the community. The school is great. My kids are happy, well balanced children and I wouldn't think about raising them anywhere but out in the sticks. Gonna have me four big ol' Nancy boys who know the value of hard work, self respect, good manners, love of family and respect for all mankind.

One day, my oldest son was called s country bumpkin and he looked at the other kid and asked "what's wrong with that?"

Folks from Somerset may think they are all better than country people but we are all Kentuckians and usually fall prey to alot of this country's stereotypes. Sad, sad, sad!
