Yeah we rented from them and they are liars. They saud they hadnt received our rent and gave us a paper saying we had to pay it in full or get out in 7 days. WELL I had my money order stub and receipt and had it tracked and they indeed cashed the money order on the 12th and gave me that letter on the 20th. I called them up wanting my deposit bk and they were like yeah well when it came down to meeting them they wont answer my calls. I have proof the townhouse looked the sme as it did when we moved in and i also took pictures. If i dont hear from them in a couple days im taking them to court

these people just don't want to fix anything at all. your expected to just live with anything that is broke. if ur wanting them to hold up their side of the bargin when u pay ur rent, u can forget it and expect to have to sue them for ur deposit back...

Yes, they really really suck. i love my unit but there are several things wrong with it. I have called several times to have these things fixed and never get a return phone call.

I still live in a unit and it's been two years on getting stuff fixed. I so wish I could find something better!!! And yes you can call and all you get is voicemail and never a call back.

Lived in 2 different units 4-5 years ago and it was terrible trying to get anything repaired...No deposit when I left and the manager was always rude when I was able to get her on phone. A slum landlord of type.

I hate living under their thumb! Horrible staff! DONT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! can't wait for my lease too be up cause I'm gone and never, I mean NEVER renting from them again!

Ok ppl I have known one of the new managers for years and she is always straight forward and won't lie for anyone not even a boss. I also have lived in one of OWR units and I didn't have any problem from them at all. They were busy a lot but they always called me back. OWR has over like 100 units and only 2 managers and 2 maintance men, which is not nearly enough for all those units. The staff are hard working ppl with families and they have to deal with alot of strange ppl on a daily basis. Most of you posting all this negative stuff have been evicted for a good reason. All I can advise you to do is read your lease, pay your rent on time, and take responsibility for your own mistakes.

Obviously you are defending because you say you have known one of them for years. That will make you biased. They always call YOU back because, well, you have knowned one of them for years. 2 mgrs and 2 'maintance" men, well you have known one of them for years. The only reason they could have been evicted is non-payment.The lease means nothing, nothing is valid except the part about money for rent on time. They need to take responsibility for their mistakes and oversights too it goes both ways.

True the maintance issues could be handled faster and they could hire a full time cleaning person so management doesn't have to. One of them used their vehicle as an office bc they are so busy, I almost feel sorry for them. As far as the lease I've seen ppl be evicted over I think conduct issues is what they said, and damages, not paying for pets, and things like that. Ppl need to realize tho those ppl who work their helped put a roof over there heads, they could have not approved your application in your time of need, and just bc I knew one of them for years doesn't mean anything to them it was a business transaction and they let me know so when I moved in.
