I have been almost 5 years trying to get my disability for issues out of my control. I am just wondering why it takes a person who really needs it so long to get an answer, when a drug addict can apply and know within a few months. I am at my wits end and don't know how much longer I can wait! I have always worked and paid my own way, and now I am at the mercy of the doctors and the judge. They want me to go see a doctor monthly, but how is a person who is unemployed and has no insurance is supppoes to do that when they want their payment up front. Why is it, that we who need help can't get it, but the low lives who have never work a day in their life can get anything they want?

you already have your answer...if you have worked a day in your life, you are screwed. Also it is much much easier to get ssi if you have mental problems rather than physical...so just act crazy, try to commit suicide and admit yourself to the fifth floor and bam ya gotta check..

Contact Hal Rogers. He helped my stepdad get his after his doctor found that his hips were separating from his spine. Get a good lawyer.

another point is ,that creditors dont care if your case is pending or not.they set their lawyers on you anyway.like what do they hope to gain by it?

creditors and lawyers dont realize that THE CONSUMER has the right not to pay a bill if it would cause them a financial hardship.they try to scare people with the threat of legal action.lets face it.unless you have comitted a crime for which you could be jailed, you should have no fear of a lawyer.ive had my wages garnished and my tax refunds withheld in the past .BIG DEAL! im still standing and
my world didnt end.

David Price in McCreary is a lot cheaper than a lawyer. Disability Claims is all he does. Give him a call with your questions..

There is nothing wrong with someone on disability if they truly need it. However, some 75% of Americans falsify claims in order to get it. I know of one turkey in Somerset who works out sometimes twice a day 6 days a week and is 100% disabled. He is involved in other sport activities and claims to be mentally healthy--so how does he get a check--its fraud and the workin man is paying for it.

Pick out a doctor that specializes in your ailment. Ask that doctor to give you a flight physical or a DOT physical. This will be your proof of disability. If SS sends you to a doctor, take someone with you or tape the coversation.

The very best thing to do is to contact Hal Rogers. He has helped many people who need it get theirs.

Is there anyone out there who DOESN'T know at least one person who "get's a check" without legitimate cause? I think everyone, at least everyone in Ky, knows at least one person who is cheating the system.

Now, did you know that if you know someone who is cheating(also known as fraud), then you are also guilty of a crime? By not reporting someone you know is committing a crime like fraud(or any other crime), you are guilty of a crime punishable by imprisonment?

If you have the guts to complain, you should have the guts to help. I turned in a friend of 30 years for doing the same thing, and I am proud that I was American enough to do it. You all want to thank our soldiers for defending their country. Does the "enemy" not also exist inside the country? What is the difference in some terrorist or thief who steals either our peace of mind or our property?? These people are stealing our money, our future well being, and our robbing our families of the same.
If you saw someone stealing your parent's money or car you would stop them, but if it's the "government's", then its OK???? Stand up for yourself by standing up for the law, which is the same as our country, because without law, a country is just a bunch of neighbors!!!

but, nothing was done as far criminal charges!
They (SS office in Somerset) allowed him to pay back more than I make in one year of work.

YES, it payes to know high people, makes you wonder if these people who help out aren't just as bad.

I will NEVER vote in Pulaski county again.
