So what's the scoop on this Timothy Prater? Is his character really as innocent as he claims? Said on the news that anyone who knows him would say that he wasn't capable if such a thing as this. Is this true or is he really an evil bastard?

Right now he's locked up in Laurel County Detention Center, London, Ky., where the Kentucky State Police jailed him.
Since KSP arrested him on Thursday, She was found dead on Friday, Is this still a KSP Investigation or a joint investigation with the McCreary County Sheriff Office?

Woman dead was not the woman Prater was "hired" to kill. Woman dead alledgedly took her own life once she found out the cops were coming for her...or something like that. Woman that was supposed to be murdered (by the dead woman's hired hands) is alive and no doubt will be singing like a canary about right now about all she has endured.
Murder-for-hire...I would think...would trigger the wide ties from the Federal Bureau of Investigations. I could be wrong...so my wife claims from time to time.

~~ Police in Pulaski County said Wednesday that two more arrests have been made in a McCreary County murder-for-hire plot.

The Pulaski County Sheriffs Office, assisted by the United States Marshal Service, arrested Antonio A. Turner, 21, of Somerset and Joseph Denning, 20, of Somerset. Both men have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder, first-degree complicity to commit robbery and unlawful imprisonment.

One of the people involved in the alleged crime, Timothy Prater, 30, was arrested last Friday by Kentucky State Police. Prater told police during his interview that he was paid $1,500 to kill Debbie Taylor of Pine Knot.

The woman believed to be behind the murder-for-hire plot, Regina Stephens of Pine Knot, was found dead in her home with a self-inflicted gunshot wound when police went to serve an arrest warrant for her on Friday

According to the citation report, Prater and two other men, believed to be Turner and Denning, approached Taylor at her home around 5:30 a.m. Thursday and identified themselves as FBI agents.

The men handcuffed her, assaulted her and used a stun gun, said police, who added that Taylor would have likely been killed had it not been for neighbors who responded to the commotion.

The men left the scene after neighbors refused to leave, investigators said.

Police told LEX 18 this was not a random crime but a targeted attempt. They said Stephens and Prater knew each other from working at a Pulaski County restaurant.

Police would not comment on a motive but said Stephens knew Taylor's husband.

Turner and Denning are being held in the Laurel County Detention Center.~~

What I am wondering is why this Regina Stevens woman wanted this done and how she talked Timothy into it! It couldnt have been about the money $1,500 isnt worth risking losing everything for. I know Tim and he is by far NOT a sociopath. I know him well and this is a shock to me. He is a very caring and loving man. I have never seen any violent behavior in the time that I have known him. I have talked to people who have known him longer and they are shocked as well. My prayers are with him and his family.
