Vote Judd-head in and watch unemployment and the poverty level rise in the state of KY. She is totally against the coal industry . We all know when you take down coal .. the industry has far reaching tentacles and many other industries and businesses will suffer.

I'm not a Judd supporter, but I'm not against her either. And since she's not yet a candidate all of this is moot. That said, she's not against the coal industry, simply the practice of mountain top renewal which is something I oppose as well. I also support clean coal initiatives which would significantly help to reduce pollution. Did you know that many states are in the process of converting their coal firing plants to natural gas which is plentiful. cheap and less polluting? Did you really think it was a coincidence that Frankfort has worked so closely with Somerset to make us a natural gas hub for the the entire region? Prediction: In 20 years coal will be as irrelevant to Kentucky as tobacco is now. People said the state couldn't survive without big tobacco and guess what, we've done quite well.

We were taught in school 40 years ago that we would run out of oil, gas and coal by the year 2000.
Is Judd for or against hemp production?
What's her views on state funded pensions?
What's her views on gambling?
It probably doesn't matter.

Talk about a job killer for KY, what about NAFTA? Old Mitch propeledc that all the way through. More jobs have left KY, because of that more than any other reason. I can name many industries here in KY, that went for cheaper wages, no insurance, no OHSA, and no labor boards. That is why we are in this deficit. We now import more, than we exports. Thanks to MItch!
What about all the millions he has made since NAFTA, what a trader.

Do you honestly think the only use of coal is for power/electricity? It may be the major use of coal but certainly it is not the only use of coal and its by products.

If you wore clothes, tennis shoes, drove a vehicle, used soap taking a bath, took an aspirin ...I could go on and on ... Then coal or its by-product has touched your life.

Pulaski County ran out of coal years ago, but we seem to be doing OK without a mining industry. And we have a lot of flat land in the souteastern part of the county.

Yeah so forget those who still have tons of it and depend on those jobs to live....they can eventually figure it out. Maybe those families can move to the flat land and find jobs here. Moron.

....and I wouldn't have either until one of your three alter egos called me out, and then others by insinuating a lack of education while using the wrong form of "you"...so turnabout is fair play. If you're not terrible or one of the other trolls not worthy of me remembering their name, then I never called you a "dumb azz", correct? Yeah, what I thought. So, therefore, it stands to reason that either you're "terrible", or you have a guilty conscience about being a "dumb azz" or you wouldn't have brought it up, now which is it?

I've been around too many message boards to not see through your little charade...stick to one user name, you come off as crazy talking to yourself and in the third person. I never claimed to be an intellectual, but in a sea of "dumb azzes", it's pretty easy to appear that way....have a nice day.

NAFTA was the brain child of the Republican party and their corporate donors and reared it's dubious head during the Reagan's last term. Biden was one of the few democrats in the Senate who "voted" in favor of the treaty. However, it was George H. W. Bush who "signed" the law in 1992. The law did not take effect until 1994. Senators vote for or against treaties, but it's the president who actually signs them.

Yeah, I knew all of that...but it seems like there were more than a few dems. It's been a while since I looked it up, but I remember seeing quite a few dems and nearly all of the Republicans. You can look it up on Wikipedia ....there's a roll call on the nafta article ....Clinton had a chance to be a hero.

Ashley Judd is "pro-choice" ( abortion on demand). She supports gun control and supported Obama's health care program. In fact she is a big supporter of Obama.

In interviews she has stated about KY: "Hillbillies don't play much golf." May have been joking. I don't know.

I would not vote for Ms. Judd because I am pro-life and I do not want to see any change in the Bill of Rights.

Actually, since Bush 41 signed it into law 1992, there was nothing Clinton could have done, even if he had wanted to, which he didn't. Presidents don't have the authority to negate previous treaties, without congressional approval, which would never have happened.
