Will somebody please tell me where the closest suboxone doctors are to this area? If so, what is the start cost and the cost after? I would greatly appreciate any information someone can give me.

Suboxone is just a trade off drug for what you are doing now. They tell you it will help you to get sober, but the truth of the matter is you get addicted to the suboxone. It's just a substitute. And the detox from this is much worse then any of the other. If you are truly wanting to clean up, your best bet is to detox and suffer. Doing it any other way, the likelyhood of it working is very low. You need to feel the pain, and be sick in order to not want it anymore once you are finally past the bad part. I know, I have been there. Best of luck to you, I just pray that you look in another direction.

Is there any doctors who will actually listen to a person that has a legitimate problem with pain and other issues such as fatigue? I have suffered for a years now and I can never get a doctor to listen to me or take me seriously. I don't want to go into the details of my problems but I have been self medicating for them. I'm not a person that steals, bums, pawns or does whatever some addicts do. I do not like to get high. I don't smoke or drink even. I just need help and I don't where to go or who to turn to. I wish I could get a good doctor that would listen and take care of the problems that I have? I recently moved here and was wondering if anyone knew of a good family doctor that cares and will give you referrals to the appropriate specialists? I appreciate any response.

Ok I'd ignore that post because that person did use subutex! Personally I think you shoulld try the naltrexone implant. It's an opiate blocker but you don't feel anything from it. It also blocks cravings. They detox you before they put it in so you don't suffer. It lasts 3 months but you must carry a card in case you get in a wreck because pain meds will not work you would have to be sedated. However I believe it is the best way because by the time it wears off 3 months later you no longer have physical cravings but you will have to go to a counselor because you will need help with how your brain thinks because the battle is mostly mental.
not here

I'm not too sure you will find a caring doctor anywhere in this state. They assume that EVERYONE is a drug addict. I just gave birth and was sent home from the hospital with naproxen. My other two children were born in Indiana and I have never been treated the way I was at this hospital here in Somerset. It was a nightmare, they even treated my child horribly. And seriously, obviously my doctor has never squezzed a child out of his man hole or he would never dreamed of giving me naproxen. It made me just want to kick him as hard as I could in the crotch and then offer him one of my naproxens. There is too big of a drug problem here for the doctors to care. Even if you do have a problem, no one should be treated like they do here. They should address the issue instead of denying the problem or kicking people while they are down. Can you imagine the jobs and money that could be brought to Somerset if they would actually deal with the drug addiction problem in Pulaski county in a productive way?? Oh no, that's not an option here. I'm so tired of this area so guess what? I'm MOVING back to civilization next week. GoodBYE Dumberset.
