I was pretty sure of this but I didn't feel like looking it up. When I goto gas stations and work on pumps (in wet area's) I know younger people sell alcohol there so I should have said something. But I wasn't thinking. Good catch though.
You would think these people have never been to Richmond or Lexington. Young people work in gas stations there, just like here. Young people wait tables there, just like here.

Fortunately, they didn't fool most of the voters this time around!

All the Council people are a waste of taxpayers money, I say cut them back to six and save the extra money for projects, the only time they are around is when they think they may get their picture in the paper, I have spoken to several employee's and they say the Council never pays a visit to the departments to see how things are going,I think if I was elected to oversee the City I would at least visit the departments from time to time, talk with the employee's just to see what they thought of how thing were being ran because they are the backbone that keeps the City up and running, if it were left up to the Council to run the City there wouldn't be much done with the crew thats in there now. I guess they think they are above the employee's since they are elected officials.

You slimy, pathetic little topix bunch of losers are never satisfied. You just want to bitch, bitch, bitch about something, anything, all the time. Anything to keep from getting a job and becoming a productive member of society. Why don't all of you who have a problem with city council members run for the job? You can't even spell councilor.

I was raised up with Tom. He saw firsthand the effects of alcohol and I am sure he (as well as the others you list) could really care less what a pinhead like you thinks about his personal reasons. Its nice to see your 'real' inner quality shine through here sir. The judgmental eye will turn on you for spewing your continual line of angry petty outbursts and accusations.
He saw one family's experience with alcohol. To extrapolate that to an entire culture is just udderly retarded.

Although I agree in spirit with the statistical analysis of your post, I am forced to point out that unless your post has to do with the ability of someone to milk a cow you should have used the term, "utterly," not "udderly."

I wonder what our preacher on the council has to say on this subject? My guess is nothing since he is getting trees and such cut down with city money on private property.

Just don't send 'em out here in the County, 'cause we don't take kindley to the jerks that wanted to take all the people in wheelchairs and drop 'em off at the county line. Them's the same assholes that take puppies and kittens and throw them away out here too, more than likely.

Once that ABC official is appointed, neither the city council nor the Mayor will have any say so in the alcohol issue.

From here on out, it's strictly between that ABC appointee and Frankfort. Although it was stated that someone HAD been appointed, they didn't mention who this ABC official was.....

Watch the most recent Somerset council meeting for details. I watched it yesterday. We're almost ready to roll out the carpet for legal sales! Get ready!!

A few years ago I heard about a small city that sort of did that. They'd tell the homeless that they won a prize and put them on an air conditioned bus with box lunches and bussed them to a neighboring city with a ticket for the zoo or a museum and then ditch them there.
