I have lived in wood stock, Kentucky for over 20 plus years and have seen many changes in the area . but here recently have been sadden by the way the Pulaski county sheriffs department handles the drunk drivers and drug problem around here . There one area that comes to mind which is called Albright Mill Rd . it is some opinions has become the most dangerous area in the community . On several times in this area I have been ran off the road by the drunks that have been now called the usauls by neighbors . they have been occurrences of vandalism, and robbery to roads adjacent to Albright mill Rd. And the latest occurance was last night when a known party crowd in dangered the lives of two small girls and 3 local young men who was loading a truck on the shoulder of the road in which led to the injury of a families pet . A red car that is marked in many problems around the area has a black bumper on the front went between the trucks on to the side of the road at maybe 30 miles per hour running in to a 60 to 70 pound German Shepard then speeding up to run all the way over top of the dog ... didn't stop to check on anyone or the pet . The car has been a subject of speeding several times on Howard rd as people around here talk but in fear to complain because of threats made to burn down houses have been rumored by parties at this cars popular hang out. When last night was the last straw the police were called . As usual if they even came they were too late . there has been instances where the sheriffs office was called and people get state troopers all the way from London,Kentucky..Two children or three fathers could have been the case here ..instead it was the beloved pet of my Friends .. i guess to get at least an hour responce from Pulaski county it would have to be a child . I for one am fed up with the problems that need to be ridden from this small area of Woodstock ..If I wanted to live by drunks and meth attics and hear gun shots all night , I would have stayed in the city instead of coming home to find home was on the verge of being a drunken, drugged up wasteland .With what seems as to have no police at all . Sadly the dog is going to youthinised at 5:00 pm Feb 17Th as a result of the injuries . I could go on for days about the observations made on the two roads when i am out hunting or visting Friends and tell the whose who of drunk drivers but I refrain from doing so ...
Is the sheriffs department rationing gas ...if so I will loan them 20 bucks to come all the way up here and serve and protect the people of this community

Give me a few minutes , I'll make a phone call & see what I can do about this.
I'll try my best to bring it to the attention of one of my law enforcement family members.

Okay I live right off 70 headed toward mount vernon. Now I know the trailor park there is bad but I really havent seen any of the stuff you all are referring to. Then again I am not home much at all. But if you want something done then do it. All of you get together and go to the police department.

like they would do something. call on the weekend and they send state and they tell us they don't see a thing. maybe a neighborhood watch would make a difference, but i seriously doubt it.

You have just embarked on the beginning of cleaning your area up, why dont you take a step further. strenth in numbers are sure to turn heads. All this babling on here is not going to get anything done. I know and know first hand our system has not responded accordingly to the numerous incidents in our area, but.....you cant stand alone.....you begin to look like the little boy whom cried wolf!

i say we all start buying paint guns and paint their car with them. at least everyone would know who the trouble makers are. at leat we could identify them throughout the community. when i called the law they were gone by the time they got here. we could at least tell them what the car looked like and what color it should have on it. wwe work hard for what we have. they need to get a job and quit stealing around here.

I like the way you think lol fight fire with fire. But that would probably just start more trouble. But I wont stand for this. My young brother drives these roads daily. There is enough risk in driving without having stupid ass drunks running ppl off the road.

(document complaints) 1 contact your local sheriff department, have report drawn up 2 contact the state police, have report drawn up 3 contact (DEA) Drug Enforcement Agency..........when you get the attention focused in this area, DEMAND relief. You have to use the system! otherwise you will be classed a vigilante,(do not take matters into your own hands) just remember, you're dealing with drug users and drug dealers. You are attacking their way of life, they all work hard in their way of life, just like you and I. It just so happens we are in their way. They do not care what we think, they have not any shame!
