Hey, I saw where somebody said that they would "LOVE" to see Holsomebacks come back because they love those burgers. I have to admit that I have heard about those burgers form what seems a million people. Never a bad report.

The good news is that if you go back to that old Holsomebacks building you will find that there is a place there now called Lynn's Lunchbox. I never had Holsomeback hamburgers but I have listened to the older people who eat there on a regular basis telling of how Lynn's burgers are as close to the old Holsomeback burgers as anyone has ever made. I can also tell you that there is no place in town that is more friendly and enjoyable to eat at.

You get to see Betty Boop and Elvis. You get to listen to old music. The checker board floor is a nice touch as are the pictures of old cars and old Somerset. It is just an all around great experience and quite possably the best kept secret in Somerset!

Go there and you will see what I mean!!!

Hey thanks for the suggestion! I might have to try that sometime! It's hard right now because the way I work it's during the day and they close fairly early but it's sounds interesting!

There was nothing like the Holsomeback hamburgers.
I remember them being greasy and good. Not pure hamburger but with some kind of added filler.
Would love to know that original recipe.

I also remember the coneys that they had there as well! I really liked the chili they used there! I wish I could have had that recipe!!

I remember meeting people who would drive from all over just to get Holsomback's! I met folks from OH, etc. who drove to Somerset for it! I can't say I blame them, though! That was the best place ever! I STILL crave it from time to time! haha

Are you friends of the family or family?
I have the original holsomback recipe from Mr. Holsomback himself. I grew up on them like most people around here did. They find there way to most of y family bday parties, and i make them at home for my boys trying to keep the tase alive.
