Had a tattoo done at Bodeans Tattoos a few years back. I was told it was guarented for life my ink faded away. I had an appointment to get it fixed today. Bodean refused to fix my faded ink. But, they had no problem taking my money when i had it done. DISAPPOINTED BODEAN DID NOT STAND BEHIND THE WORK OF ONE OF HIS EMPLOYEES AT THE TIME OF MY TATTOO!

I have gotten several tattoos at Bodean's I have had to go back to have 2 touched up and it was many years later and Bean did it with no questions asked, even though one was done by someone that no longer worked there...I am very surprised to hear that they wouldnt touch your up

yes i was surprised to but, anyway that's what happened I think that was bad for his business it was done in his shop the records should be there to prove it was not satisfied with his response. IF YOU SAY YOU WILL STAND BEHIND A TATOO YOU SHOULD IF WAS DONE IN YOUR SHOP

Preventive maintenance goes a long way. Not everyone holds ink the same way either. After placing First and third in the Nashville Nationals and Second and third at the Easyrider competitions I discoverd that Bodean's artwork doesn't ever need touching up. Save up your pennies and do it again. Wearing off "Tramp Stamps" one at a time,~Latas Babe~

After about 8 years can't say I'm too happy with mine either. To be honest, I wasn't very happy to start with. The lines weren't sharp enough. It wasn't done by Bodean, it was somebody else there.

Obviously, there must have been a good reason for him to refuse to touch you up. Ive seen Bodeans touch up tattoos twenty years old or more... for free, even after all those years. What is the whole story, Ms. Pissed, because you are definitely not telling us everything....

for one thing inks were a lot different that many years back and they bled out and faded more so than the new brands that are out nowadays. i wouldnt dare be low enough to walk into my tat artists shop and expect him to redo something that old for free. thats just being a cheap azz. thats my opinion on the matter.

BODEAN WAS NOT THE PERSON THAT DONE MY TATOO BUT HIS SHOP WAS THE ONE STANDING BEHIND IT WHEN I WAS PAYING THEM

Bodean is obviously not an"artist".Mine were done by the famous"Charlie Ho"in Vietnam over 43 years ago and are still almost as sharp and vivid as they were then. One on each arm cost me 100 bucks apiece back then...thats 345 apiece in todays money. You get what you pay for.

I'm shocked anyone bought into the "it won't fade" guarantee.

Exactly! No matter how experienced the artist is, tattoos fade! Mostly because the aftercare instructions were not followed. Remember folks, a good tattoo isn't cheap and a cheap tattoo isn't good!
