Is Oscar Robertson still in charge of the rest though? Ward donates what's the equivolent of you or I donating $5.00. Looks like a lot on paper, but in perspective.....

His brother Ray was a good, decent fellow. RIP Ray.

How could he have that much control? Do Walmart, Speedway and Krogers answer to him? Maybe they just follow his lead and enjoy the ride. Wish we had the same prices as our neighboring towns.

Hey re re, Opec never shut down! Yeah they cut back b/c they produced more than we could consume at the time but they never "quit" producing... hmm that would just mean the total halt to business around the world after a few weeks... nice try.

And they call me crazy!!!!!Ward Correll does not control the gas prices here in Pulaski County. If you are so determined to find out who is, just sit around Speedway and watch them change their prices and then all the rest will follow suit. As far as gas goes the price for the next tanker loads comes from Knoxville TN. and Louisville KY. If you were a distributor you would be setting your prices accordingly but as just an everyday observer you have no idea of what goes on in the oil world except to know the prices can change anywhere from one to five or six times a day.I know I was once in the gas station business and it was a PAIN in the drawers just keeping the prices updated. So please stop judging these peolpe for what you have no earthly idea of what you are talking about.

Ward does not control Murphy's, Marathon, Speedway etc... so why are they not cheaper? I think gas could be cheaper here, but the blame does not fall solely on Mr. Correll's hands. The lady that did not get her bills paid, there may have been a reason why she was refused. The Ward that I have always known, believes that if you give a man a fish, you feed him for the day, teach him to fish and you feed him for a lifetime! He will be judged ,as we all shall, and I hope God says "welcome home my son". However, we must keep in mind the greedy, selfish, slanderous rednecks that would make such post in a public forum. Merry Christmas to Ward Correll and his family.

SOMEONE is going to be the one to change..and its "usually" speedway, walmart, or correll to beat everyone else to the punch...this isnt "controling" the prices, who goes first...all stations get the call to go up, thats just how it is....corruption involved? sure, but WE dont always know who is right and wrong-everytime it happens that is. thats why nobody gets caught gouging as much as they could or should.

Refreshing to read something from someone with some insight, instead of the constant pointing of fingers. I have family that work in the "field" and they'll say pretty much what you said.

Thank you because I have not seen very many people on here that is agreeable with the gas pricing.OPEC controls everyones future on the oil pricing. Some of these people need to watch the stock market and CNN and maybe they will eventually get what is going on in the world. But you seem to know more than most so again Thanks,,,,,,,The Crazy Horse

Geez people gas was 4.16 like 5 months ago be happy we are getting a break, cause those prices could come back. I love barely breaking a 20 for a fill up, reminds me of HS.
