This isnt my child this is my 14 almost 15 year old niece. She came to me because her mom and step dad abuse her mentally and phyically. They also do drugs in front of her and her 1/2 brother. Yes Im mad wouldnt you be?!? And yes I will keep her away from this influence as long as this kind of behavior is allowed in her moms house. If they(the adults) dont have enough common sense to know they shouldnt be smoking/snorting shit then they dont deserve the kids!!!

I would reccommend Debra Lambert. She is practicing law out of Rockcastle County. She is very straight forward, and to the point. She's very knowledgeable concerning child custody, ecspecially considering she was recently the family court judge in Pulaski County.

Everyone has their own opinions about her. However, I recently went through a divorce and I wish my lawyer would have given me the same attention and advice that Mrs. Lambert has given a client who I'm very close to.

Debbie F'n Lambert. She would be the oldest cashier at hooters if it weren't for her husband. Go hire yourself a real lawyer.

READ THE DAMN SIGN......Pretty to look, at nice to hold, but if you break it, it has just been SOLD. In other words if you don't want to pay support you better not be sticking anything with a loaded gun. Beter yet "You Play You Pay"

There aren't any good Divorce Lawyers, hell most of them are looking for a good lawyer to represent them.

I say leave him alone your son deserves uninterrupted time with his daddy. He prolly only gets one night a week and every other weekend anyway right?
I would understand if he had him for 2 or 3 weeks or something.

Debra Lambert really cares about families, although some people have a bad opinion of her from her judge days, you have to think about the reason why.
In every case she tried, there was one winner and one loser... so for every person that wasn't on the winning end, she made an enemy.
If I needed a good attorney I would definatly keep her on my list, along with Heidi Powers, and Jane Adams-Venters.

I have a son, now 3, and I understand what kind of arrangement you have. I can understand that you would want to call and check on your son, but how long is he away at one time?
I know that I do not know how your relationship is with your ex, but from the sound of it, its not a very good one. I know it might be hard, but take it from a Mom who knows, sometimes it's okay to let your son be away from you for a little while. If he becomes too attached to you, it can become a problem when you have to go to work, school, or even to run an errand without you.
Please don't think I'm not an understanding person, it used to kill me when my son was at his Dad's house, but I just finally had to get over it. It's a fact that he is there, and is gonna get to see him every so often, so you just have to deal with it.

Debra Lambert hands down. She can make Bruce look like a pre-schooler in court. Knows the law inside and out, but will work hardest for the kids best interest not the parent. Knows all the tricks of the trade.

NO,NO,NO, NEVER EVEN THINK ABOUT DEBRA LAMBERT. She is the laziest worst attorney there is. She did not even meet with me the day of the court date and forgot what my case was all about and did not ask the judge for any of the things I had requested. If you don't do as much as you can the first day it will mess everything up in the future because the judge then thinks everything else is only being done in retaliation. I paid her over $1,000 and then when I said no more and went to another attorney, they said it was her responsibility to file a change of attorney paper and she was too lazy to even do this and my new attorney had to do it. From the expression on their face, they were very familiar with her poor work ethics. I heard too late that this is not uncommon for her. She will not fight for you and will give you very poor advice. She does not care about you or your child as long as she gets her money.

quick question..maybe smoeone knows my husband is trying to say we had sex (which we didn't) so that all our court orders and such up to that point will be thrown out. Will the judge here believe him over me?will he believe this without my ex having any proof or anything?

debra lambert was a joke as judge. she sat on her "throne" and looked down on the same people who believed her campaign lies and voted her into office.if she had been so wonderful she wouldn't have lost by a landslide the last time."for the children?" BULL! her record spoke for itself and it talked dirty.good riddance.

honey all you have done is complain over someone wanting to have custody of their child they never said i want sole custody just so my ex can't have them now days it is great for both parents to want to have custody of their kids but in order to do that you need great lawyers to make sure that that is done if one don't have a good laywer thatn the other can prevent them from seeing the child by saying or doing anything with a good lawyer you can say see your honor iam a good parent to instead of losing your kids. so get down off that soap box. iam sorry a good lawyer didn't help you or what ever your problem is but get over it someone is trying to fight for their children
Ummm...you are seriously confused.

I happened to have procreated with a responsible person. We didn't have to have a Hatfield/McCoy, Jerry Springer feud. He paid his support ON TIME, EVERY TIME and got his daughter whenever he wanted her. She could go see him whenever she wanted to, provided her school work was completed and she was behaving like a young lady.

What he paid and what I paid to raise our daughter is a little off balanced, but oh well. So I paid more. That is the way the ball bounces.
We have a loving, caring, responsible college grad who is setting out to take on the world in the field of science/medicine. We did ok by her, despite how we feel about each other. And we didn't publically trash talk each other either. I didn't want my daughter hearing any bad talk about her father. I bit my tongue.

Moral of the story, GROW the eff up and be a little more choosy about who you stick your tally wanker in. Not all relationships or marriages last forever, god knows, but at least by starting one or the other with a decent, responsible woman will give you better odds of being in your childs life.
