Job Shop has always paid us for the hours worked. Usually it's just entry level factory work, at minimum wage, but it is work, if you have nothing. We always got 40 hours a week. Paid weekly - either direct deposited or put on a debit card (I think). We did the direct deposit, so I'm not sure.

Worked there until we found a permanent job instead. Don't know who their clients are now, but they used to do work at Wonderfuel and Eagle Hardwood. Not sure where else.

Hope that helps some.

Nothing's more 'ruttier' than sitting at home watching TV and drawing a check, time spent at a minimum wage job is infinitely more productive than doing nothing.

This attitude is partly why there are 55 million people on welfare, food stamps and unemployment. That's almost a quarter of all adults in this country.

I can't judge anybody sometimes I don't feel like working I just feel like relaxing for a few months. After about 5 years of anything you get tired of it. You could train a jackass to work hard. This is the way it is your damned if you do and you're damned if you don't.
