<quoted text>Yes greed, why should the taxpayers of America subsidize corporate America with EIC? As a taxpayer I am sick and damn tired of paying tax credits to Walmart employees, because the Walton's refuse to pay a living wage to their workforce. Union workers pay taxes, they don't show up on tax day with a handful of howdy, and a mouthful of give me! Repeal EIC, and the nation's deficits would disappear. How many union workers are you paying for, as opposed to the Earned Income Credits (corporate welfare) that a vast majority of workers in right to work states receive? You make no sense!
You are correct, wallyworld allows the fed govt to subsidize it's workforce because they are too greedy to pay a living wage!

Indeed, and it's the same excuse given by big oil to get tax dollar subsidies to keep prices lower. A vast majority of folks working in the oil business are minimum wage earners working to sell gasoline. Record profits ensue, and the taxpayer is paying top dollar for fuel, and the fat cats and shareholders laugh all the way to the bank with our tax dollars. BP has paid nothing in income taxes it has been reported the year of their spill in the gulf, I wonder which of the other oil titans is getting away with America's treasure as well. Tax a millionaire, support unions, and buy American!

Please explain how.
Walmart offers what they offer. It is THEIR choice to offer jobs and they BY LAW are allowed to pay what they choose as long as it is atleast minimum wage. If you don't like the job or wages Walmart offers...look elsewhere! According to Zippy the economy is doing just fine! So, that means jobs are plentiful.
Who are you to tell anyone what they MUST pay someone? Where does that right or power come from?
You liberals...

Stock market is at all time high levels...... where are those jobs that were supposed to trickle down with the tax cuts that the wealthy have hoarded? I figure pockets were a Republican invention, and those pockets are as far as the trickle down goes. Conservatism 101, lol! Oh, and I forgot the praise Jesus.

Don't...just don't start with the crap about pocketing taxpayer money. Especially after the whole Stimulus Bill money laundering scheme that Democrats scammed us all with.
You said it yourself...if the stock market is doing so well, where are the jobs?

Breitbart is a proven liar, the jobs are overseas where people work for slave wages, and those jobs will return when the Republican and Teabagger loons drive them as low here in America. In their world it's a race to the bottom line for them, and a race to wipe out the middle class wages for working folks. Why do you think Bush opened up our Southwestern borders, and the Chamber of Commerce looked on with a blind eye?

Repealing NAFTA will not bring those jobs back, but changes in tax law will. When do you suppose John Boehner will jump on board with legislation to close corporate loopholes, and do the right thing for working folks? Former Senator Byron Dorgan (D) North Dakota harped about these changes for years, and repeatedly was stopped by Republican blocks or filibuster. If you expect remedy, your only course of action would be to run every Conservative out of Washington D.C.

No, but vetoing it would have never allowed it to happen to begin with....no?

Zippy, how does it feel to be wrong every time you type something? Nothing you post has any basis in either reality or fact. I'm not surprised you're the #1 defender of the democratic party and the organizer in chief. None of them have any concept of reality either.
I'll bet you get up every morning, drink your herbal tea while watching MS-NBC then, hop on the computer and click the link on your desktop that takes you directly to the Huff-Puff Post. Then, you spend the next hour or so copy & paisting garbage from that loony-bin of a site.
Has the mere inkling of an original idea ever crossed your mind or are you do you enjoy being a parakeet in a liberal echo chamber?
