WHY? cause its there, it is stupid to work and worry about bills!
A form filled out, tears if needed, and when rent is concerned a little rub on the landlord helps!
cash is king!
Oh yes I can barely pay my own heating bill because I'm paying yours. With the taxes they take out of my paycheck. So you get to sit on your a** all day while I work to pay your bills! What goes around comes around, and you will get yours in the end. All I have to do is wait.......you disgust me lazy a**hole!

I hope you mean that for the other poster, the freeloader, cause I pay my share and I can guarantee that the freeloader lives in a nicer house than I do. Well I know that they do because they said it cost them 800.00 to heat the da** thing. My husband and I both work over 40hrs a week and live in very small 40yr old mobile home. Do you know what the Occupy Mvmt. is? Or were you referring to the other poster?

Did you miss a day's work to stand in line?

What do I need to bring to get assistance for the LIHEAP program. Please be serious. Yes I work, I am a single mother. No one helps me but myself. I don't get any help from the government but I heard they will pay one electric bill a year. Thank you!

Hi Single Mom - If you plan applying in February for heating assistance for your January bill you'll need the following: 1. Proof of income for the ENTIRE month of January. If you're paid weekly, they'll want to see a paystub for each week you were paid. 2. A disconnect notice from the electric company/gas company/etc. If you don't have the termination notice, the electric or gas company will give you a copy. 3. Your photo id. 4. Social Security card.

Hope this helps and you can get some assistance. Good luck.

What is up with this stupid place? The doors don't open until 8 am, an d because of stupid people standing outside at 3 am the people LIKE ME who do down there at 7:30 don't get seen. My electric bill is $800.00 please someone I NEED HELP.
You'll have to excuse Pulaski County, they tend to do everything a$$backwards here. Heck, they can't even get the alcohol thing right, and it's been almost a year now! Anyway, old women in wheelchairs shouldn't be made to wait in line in the rain or cold for assistance with their heating bill! I who am disabled, and am on SSI and SS, was told by the agency that I should bring a folding chair with me when I came there, to sit in while I waited in line because of my mobility problems! The state I moved from to this God forsaken place, gladly handled my application over the phone, and any forms needed where sent by mail,....I never had a problem. LCCAA insists there is no way they can do it over the phone, or by mail, and to that I say BS! Many states let you do your application online, and mail in anything else they need, but not this "80 years behind the times" place! I'll see what the American Disabilities Act people have to say about me "bringing a folding chair", when I file my complaint with them, don't think LCCAA is going to like it one bit! There is absolutely no sense or need for people to have to line up at 2AM, to put in an application for LIEAP!!
