Support the Gatewood Galbraith Memorial Medical Marijuana Act

By Ron Moore / Keith Rouda (Contact)

To be delivered to: The Kentucky State House, The Kentucky State Senate, and Governor Steve Beshear
Petition Statement
Support Kentucky SB 129, known as the Gatewood Galbraith Memorial Medical Marijuana Act.

State Senator Perry Clark has submitted a bill to legalize the use of Marijuana for medical purposes in the state of Kentucky. With the advent of research done all over the globe on this issue and the findings that medical Marijuana is in fact beneficial for treating a variety of ailments, we are urging passage of this bill.

Do you happen to have an affliction that would enable you to consume the evil weed if it could be used legally for medicinal purposes?

Marijuana does nothing for cancer patients other than helping with nausua. Phenogrin is much better according to medical studies.

Marijuana is full of carcinogins. I've seen too many friends go down the wrong road with mj.

Marijuana contains no carcinogens, inhaling burning leaf matter contains carcinogens. Medical marijuana comes in forms that do not require smoking it such as candy, cakes, and suckers it can also be vaporized.

Harvard University has shown that marijuana (THC) cures some cancers and inhibits tumor growth in others. One top cancer researcher there has claimed that marijuana (THC) is the holy grail of medicine.

Recent discoveries has claimed that the six chain carbon molecule of THC is a "pharma factory", this means that every ailment we have can receive benefit form marijuana. Recent breakthroughs in Autism research has shown very strong positive results in children with the disease.

How Hemp Got High: Cannabis Genome Mapped

"Essentially, this means that over thousands of years of cultivation, hemp farmers selectively bred Cannabis sativa into two distinct strains -- one for fibre and seed, and one for medicine. Marijuana has been used medicinally for more than 2,700 years, and continues to be explored for its pharmaceutical potential."

well shelia from my perspective if a person goes down the wrong road there is usually a deeper situation and the easy way out is to blame something else rather than personal accountability . Do not scapegoat weed for stupidity.

Great, just when I was getting used to driving defensively against people on cell phones, people texting, people drinking,.....now I gotta watch out for medical MJ smokers too!
Believe it's time to trade my gas squeezer for a 1-ton dually with a snowplow attached or a garbage truck with a lift container on front.
Let the games begin!

You're an idiot. Your doctor smokes weed. If you ever are successful enough to hire a lawyer, he smokes weed. So does your school teacher and your principle.

It may do your judgemental soul some good to read this article.
I am a non smoker, but I do like the nut bread. Before someone becomes so judgemental. They might want to do a little research.
I see you can not think for yourself. The government has you right where they want you.

I have always wanted to try cooking with THC butter, if we could grow our own legally I'd keep it stocked.

As it is now I'm too afraid of ruining a bunch.
