Does RTEC offer Saturday pickups? If so how do you get a hold of them.

Thank you Kimberly. We are needing to transport a disabled woman in a wheelchair to a family function. It's very important for her to go and since we don't have a wheelchair van it's kind of hard to figure it out. Thanks for the information!!

RTEC is a public transportation that runs in Somerset, Mt.Vernon, London, and Whitley City (the mains areas) kind of like LexTran in Lexington except you have to call to get a ride and they charge I think its like maybe $3/mile..so its somewhere between LexTran and a taxi

RTEC only charges about 80 cents a mile, minimum of $3.00. Some people may qualify for lower rates. You have to call them to get a price quote at the 800 number.

They won't drive you if you or someone in your household has a car unless you are on Medicaid. If you or your roommate has a car, don't let them know about it. likely ask you this.
