I don't think coroners should own funeral homes.
Neighboring counties funeral home owners have gone to the place of death when a coroner is needed at tell the family what time to meet him at his business. He wouldn't ask them what funeral home would they like for the body to go to. Coroners are suppose to ask to the next of kin, "What funeral home would you like to use"? On the other hand, it would be difficult to say another when he's looking at you. I don't think funeral home owners should be coroners. I think the family should have a choice without an influence.

Richard will have my buisness no matter where he goes, I have had to work with him many times over the years and he has always been compasionate and caring through such rough times.
It saddens me to know that he is not director anymore and I wonder what other staff are gone.
I can't imagine working with anyone else during such a trying time as loosing a loved one.

We are behind you Richard and we will support you and whatever new business you choose to go to. You and your family deserve the best. THANKS for helping me and my family 4 times this past year. not any board member helped during the loss of my loved ones. Greed and jealousy and power and control has destroyed LCFH. God bless you Richard you made LCFH start you another one!!!!!!

Even if that was the case,$6k is cheap and @$300/ month it still would have taken 2 years to pay off, so $300 seems fair enough.
I've had to plan a few funerals and you choose all the options and the prices are avalible when you are making your decisions. My father's funeral cost us $6500 and it was a beautiful service, with wonderful flowers, nice casket, upgraded vault, we were price aware but still wanted a wonderful sevice and Richard provided that for us.
Sadly nothing is free, and that's why life insurance is so important.

Lake Cumberland Funeral Home was the cheapest place that you could buy caskets and etc. They were always friendly, All Richard has to do Is go under their prices and he will have All of the business.

Richard will open a new place I'd say thats a sure thing... Richard was and still is one of the most compasionate people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.... don't get on here and down someone becasuse your afraid to tell them to their face... Hang in there Richard I think you have the support for another funeral home and you sure have my vote for Coroner anytime.
