Somerset school board hearing - RAISING SCHOOL TAXES!

There's a public hearing monday night August 13th, 6 p.m. at Somerset Board of Education Office. This meeting is to discuss raising city school taxes! The tax base for Somerset is one of the highest in the state NOW! Please attend this meeting to voice your opinion to the board memebers who are Elaine Wilson, Jeff Adams, Scott Gulock, Sharon Brown, and Gretchen Cole. IF you can't attend the board meeing, PLEASE contact your board members and voice your conerns! The current tax rate is 5.48% and is going to 6.23%.

The same ones get voted in year after year, why expect anything different, of course they are going to raise our school taxes, all the people on that board have plenty of money to pay extra, its not a problem for them at all!!!Why in heck do they care about us poor folk, not one person on that board makes less than 100 grand a year. most make more than that for sure the doctors wifes.
