This discussion has turned from friendly to down right hateful. I am a PROUD parent of two boys that are on the Pee Wee team for Nancy. I'm not on here belly aching about the season, coaches, other teams. I'm just glad that my boys are learning to play the game so that when they get to junior high and have to "try-out", they will know the fundamentals of the sport and hopefully go somewhere with it. Our Pee Wee tean hasn't won a game this year but I don't hear the players complaining about it. They're just happy playing period.
We are a smaller school and every player gets to play. We don't have 1st or 2nd string offense/defense. Every player plays, whether they're Pee Wee, Junior or Senior. They are on the field, learning the game. They have great sportmanship and loyalty to their team. Isn't that what matters?

I agree. I think that the boys and girls that are playing in this league are enjoying themselves. My son plays for Shopville Seniors and I think that all 3 teams have done well. We might not look good to others but they are coming along really great. The seniors are more experienced than the others because they have some returning players on there from when Dormus coached. My sons is just having fun and he is friends with some of the boys from the other schools that all go to NMS. They let it go at the games and then come Monday they are just back to normal. As far as the water bottles go I have tried to get someone to do something about that problem but one voice isn't enough. I have mentioned that they needed to buy more jugs if that was the problem but i think they have finally done that this last game but a little late. Season is almost over and the players just need to have fun and enjoy what is left. Good luck to all teams in the upcoming playoffs. We will see ya there.

First of all our boys may not look as great with winning scores, but you have to remember that our boys are doing it all. They are the defense, the offense. So when they are on defense they are a worn down defense against a fresh offense, and when they are on offense they are a worn down offense against a fresh defense. So to some they make not look like much but they are doing twice the job of the other team. If it were on even playing terms I think our boys, all of them peewee, jrs and srs. I think they all would match up well with the other schools. Yes, the water bottles for the peewees were a little late, but a parent bought those for the pee-wees.
