Last night after leaving LCRH, I needed to go get some overpriced prescription so as usual my husband and I headed to walmart pharmacy, where we was treated like dirt because the pharmacy was closing at 8p.m. sharp. My husband explained that he didn't have enough cash on him to pay for the medicine and he would have to run home and get the money out of my purse, the response he got was "you will have to wait until morning to pick it up because I am closing in 3 minutes" when my husband ask for the prescription back the girl said "it is to late we are filling it now", but they couldn't wait 5 minutes for him to run home and get money out of my purse. I don't know how most people feel about Walmart Pharmacy but I do know after this they have lost my entire families business.Don't get me wrong I understand wanting to get off work but if I didn't need this medicine I would of waited until this morning, but there is no need to be so rude and hateful. In todays economy you would think most would be grateful for a job and I truly don't think it would of hurt to wait 5 minutes more. This is just my thoughts.

I have recently moved my prescriptions to the Kroger pharmacy because of more available hours.
They also have the $4.00 generic plan.

first how many hours do you work for free, or do you even work, stop bashing other people for your mistakes, granted you may have needed the medicine but this is a business and the hours are clearly posted, otherwise they would be there all nite

I love eating at the pharmacy.

That makes about as much sense as cream style corn on top of spaghetti, all covered with cheese. I lost my poor meatball, when that sexy chic at walmart walked by me, short, brown hair, twenties, purty as they come...seen here wearing one of those masks, sweet and smart of her to think about others.
As far as the pharmacy goes, they probably don't think things through and make their selves look dumb, or don't care, and Kroger is cheaper anyway.

First off YES I do work for a living as well as my husband, unlike you who can get on here and be judgemental for someone being sick...The hours of the pharmacy need to be a little more flexable is all I am saying...MY GOD I HAD THE DAMNED SWINE FLU AND NEEDED MY MEDICINE!!! When my husband asked for the script back so we could go to Walgreens he was told no. So all of you that spend all your welfare or lazy checks at Walmart, feel free but they will NEVER get another penny of my money.

Walgreens open 24/7, they try to help you out, they will run the prescribtion with and without insurance to see what is cheaper. Normally, I use another pharm. but in emergancies I go to walgreens

Let me tell ya something about hours,,,I am a mechanic hear in town and our hours are stated as well,, but i just bet that your one of those customers that come in 30 min before closeing needing a fuel pump or break work done at the last minute. What im trying to get accrossed is 5 min or 2 more hours today doesn't mean squat when it comes to being curtious as we have done several times. We close at 5pm but have been there several nights till 7 or 8pm, just to help someone in a pinch. Remember that some day you may need us....

I went to Walmart once and the dr had prescribed me to take two pills a day of a certain prescription. This older lady working there said that my insurance would only pay for one a day and they would have to call my insurance and authorize 2 a day. So I said that was fine and she got all hateful and said "just take the one they'll give you, just because it says take 2 on the prescription doesn't mean you really have to take 2." That's funny because silly me I had always thought that you were supposed to follow the prescription to the letter.

This is a B.S. story. No woman leaves her purse at home to go to a hospital.
