I can definatly see why you had a bad experience. You are obviously not very bright...NO he doesn't charge any interest, just higher for the car. Regular dealerships make money from interest....he makes his from the set amount, which is above the book. either way...all sales men have to make their money one way or another. Did you even read my post? I think it was clear, someone even agreed on here that my post was clear. And NO I'm no relation to him, nor anyone affiliated with him! I just see things for the way they are presented to me!

Not very bright? If you say so....:) Yes but he smears the "dont charge interest" all over, like he is doing me such a big favor making the amount three times what it is worth with so many problems. Anyways, I am done with this topic, I have stated my opinions, I am not on here to argue in no way.

Just Me: Did it ever dawn on you that you should have looked at the blue book price before you bought the car? A salesman can ask any price and you can offer any amount. That's called negotiating

Why did you pay triple the amount??? Is it a buy here pay here lot? If so they have to cover their behinds because of the repo. rate.

i bought a car from Don Marshall in august i thought them being well known they would do me right, well taxes and all cost me 1,734.00 it is a 93 bought it on a Saturday drove it home got in it Monday went got insurance on it stopped by friends house and went to leave and turned key and it went pow really loud and had to put it in shop most the vacuum hoses was off had bad oil leak and water leak,i called them they gave me 150.00 back but that didn't touch cost of repairs i had to pay, and still needs tune-up and front axle so they sold me a lemon,i got a letter from them time to have my car checked over by one of there mechanics,i wrote the owner a email said oh is this free because you sold me a lemon, that i hoped they didn't do all there customers that way, that i bought car as is but respected it to be a decent car since i bought it from them, guess what i didn't get a email back lol,i will not buy another car from them,i am planning on buying a newer car first of yeah but i will look somewhere else.

If you paid triple the blue book, you made a real mistake. I can understand why you feel you got taken. It is best to check the blue book, I use kbb.com (Kelly Blue Book). You have to investigate before you buy a car and see the value of it in the blue book. Any auto dealer who tells you that you shouldn't go by that is a liar. Also, you can call a bank and ask them the value of the car: tell them the year, the model, the mileage and the condition. Then tell the dealer you will pay LESS than that. They mark the prices up and most of them will come down. Good luck to you.
