Out of biz. Their old website, http://somersetfuncenter.com/ , is now a site for a custom bike shop.

Does anyone know when this place is going to open up for business yet?

It's not out of business. It just reopened under a new name with a new owner. It's now called Sk8ters Paradise. They just had their ribbon cutting ceremony a few days ago. I saw it posted on the Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.

I assume then that the site has a major glitch in it because it does say "Dirty Deeds Bikes and Customs", and has said it for over a month or more now..

So is anyone able to give a credible answer?

You're right. I'm sure the Chamber of Commerce just stood outside the building with big scissors and a ribbon with the new owner as a complete hoax. Did you ever think that maybe they sold the website???

Post from Chamber of Commerce along with picture of ribbon cutting:

Great ribbon cutting this past Friday at Sk8ters Paradise. This is the old Finley's Fun Center and owner Amanda Finley has the place looking GREAT!!! Skating....laser tag....tons of video games and the food is excellent!!! Please consider dropping by the next time you are looking for a family friendly activity for your kids.

I'm not really sure how much clearer that can possibly get.

Wow a little bit on the snarky side. Looks like someone was personally offended by a simple question. Must be a simple person. Let's break this down. Maybe the old Papa Bear owners are starting a new business and haven't changed the address yet. Ever stop to think that the folks that had the old fun center site might have sold it to someone else and haven't changed the address. I guess you still had the ribbons from the cutting ceremony wrapped around your head a little too tight. huh? Or an easier answer on your part could have been, must be something is wrong with the site because the chamber ribbon cutting last week was for Sk8ters paradise not a cycle shop.

Sounds like you quite possibly have your britches in a knot this morning for some reason, lol. Anyway, I hope the new place does well. Kids around here surely don't have much of anything to do, so I hope the place does really well. I wish them all the best and hope people will back them up.

Hopefully though, one day soon we'll get a decent Harley shop close by too...

Sorry for being rude. I looked back at my last post and realize how hateful that sounded. I agree I hope it does well and that parents take their children there! Our area needs more attractions for the youth.

not an owner. Just saw the information on the Chambers page and wanted to pass it along. My second post was extremely rude and I apologize. Shouldn't have delivered the information in that manner. I think I misunderstood "Nope" and just got defensive. Sorry guys.

It's ok. Written text is hard to decipher sometimes and it can be misleading.
(Honestly though I'm still hoping for a local bike shop too, LOL)!!

But I did just find the link about it listed on the Chambers web page! It looks awesome! Hopefully it does well so the kids around here will finally have a great place to go for some fun.

I've always felt bad for young folks around here. There's very little for them to do in Somerset.

They've also moved some things around and done some good renovations. I took my son their last week and he had a good time.
