You have got that right on! I have read all the threads here and the more I read the more sickening & horrible this story became.
* Some people have suffered for many YEARS !!!!!
* Some have lost their jobs, spouses, lovers

* Some have lost their houses & moved
* Some have gone to wild extremes of laundry, cleaning house,

This is just the tip of the iceberg. How many people do you think suffer in silence or do not know they have them because they do not itch?

They still go to their jobs, the grocery store, department stores, movies, public toilets,bars, sports events, hotals, cruises,....the list could go on and on.

This is pandemic. Why are Doctors and health officials so quick to say that if their perscriptions don't work for you "It's Mental" ?

Because they do not know what to do about it and they do not want you giving it to them or spreading it around their office.

It seems like the news media would be all over it.
Where are Oprah and Dr. Oz when we need them ???

vann. there is nothing u mentioned that i hadnt done. i went as far as taking a bath soak once in lighter fluid but with no luck. well if that didnt kill those little crawlers nothing will. arm and hammer was the only cure i got.you cant even do that often because it hurt my lungs along with poisonous chemical sprays. i have been symptom free since august of 09. i worked at it daily . its something you can not slack off on. getting rid of these is not an easy task. demacious earth can not be beathed in. i used it everywhere, i took it also in pill form for 4 months straight it did absolutely nothing for me. if its helping you good luck with that stuff

i had gotten divorced and moved. with all the drama from these mites its mentally and physically challenged me no doubt. after all the years i went to drs they say there was nothing wrong with me, now i suffer from chronic infections . now- drs say the infection can no doubt be caused from "the mites" that lingered in my body so long. hmm is all i can say.i daily have to take meds to keep my lungs clear or i cant breath from the chemical burns i did to my lungs from all the bug sprays that never worked. my husband still has bugs and i dont. he is raging and wanting me back. the stress from what the bugs did to my marriage is overwhelming. financially drained and alone depression tries to creep in. i should just be sittn here being thankful nothing is crawling all over my face huh.. but ive just been going through after shock drama and not been on the computer much. but ive never once stopped thinking about all you people on this forum. not once!!!

I have recently noticed small bumps on my feet and legs and groin and deemed them as fle bites, but they continued to get worse. Now I have found that I have scabies. I do not sleep around I live with my girlfriend who I am afraid is getting them as well. we are on a regimen of Acticin Cream. I hope things get better for all of us this ITCH IS INSANE

I find myself in a very delicate situation and I am desperate for an advice.I recently found out that I have scabies for a couple of years. I went to the doctor and I got a missdiagnose of dermatitis and since than I thought that was true. I think I got this from the hospital as I was ill for 2 months.The most recent test shows it is norwegian scabies which is a very contagious form of this disease.That means that almost everyone I got in touch has got it also. The symptons are now very faint but I am passing it to my friends and i feel so embarrased and guilty. I don't know exactly how many people that I know have it but it is an outburst and it feels that I can't control it.
How do I tell my dear ones about this?Im fearing they will judge me and I will loose all my friends and they will never look at me in the same way.
How is possible to eardicate such a highly contagious disease when it envolves hundreds of people?
There is also a chance that i will loose my job because I need to tell my colleagues about this. Does anyone has a solution? I feel trapped in a uncontrolable situation

Question: who (what institute) has made the diagnosis, how was the diagnosis established, and what part of Germany do you reside?

I am in from the west side of Germany.The doctor made a microscope test.The diagnosis was simply scabies but it is more contagious than the simple scabies and thats why I thought it might be the norwegian form.I didnt mean any kind of discrimination, but there is a form called like this.

Hi Riana. You will get over this. You are on the RIGHT forum. Keep reading this forum. Do a search on here for ivermectin, permethrin, benzyl benzoate, sulfur, sulphur. Arm and Hammer laundry Detergent. Bleach baths, etc. I was adding things to the "I am Cured" thread. Read Progresses' Scabies forum thread. Could you please be a little more specific please, is it about the region Cologne, or Aachen?

I would like to get grip on a certain epidemic spread that has occurred in central europe, with Belgium as epicenter. The epidemic spread continued in the USA, according existing literature.

The key seems to be a scabies like entity, an entity that actually is not exactly scabies, but one that behaves like scabies.

Another question would be; what type treatment have you received for your present condition, and what type success have you scored?
