Officers involved in shooting named

There are 3 comments on the The Californian story from Mar 8, 2012, titled Officers involved in shooting named. In it, The Californian reports that:

The names of the four Gonzales police officers in an officer-involved shooting of a wanted parolee last week were released Wednesday. Gonzales police identified the officers as Sgt. Fred Lombardi, a 20-year veteran of the department, officers Jose Cisneros and Winston Rojas, five and four-year members, respectively, and reserve Officer Michael Duby, who's been with the agency for 11 months. The department said the internal review of the shooting found that the officers followed policies and procedures for the use of force in the incident. Police have said the officers returned fire Feb. 29 on the wanted parolee — identified as David Navarro, 20, of Soledad — after he shot at them following a traffic stop at the Highway 101 and the 5th Street onramp in Gonzales. Navarro was flown to a San Jose hospital, where he received surgery for his injuries. According to the Monterey County Superior Court, he's scheduled for arraignment this afternoon in Salinas.

I know he did wrong and deserve to go to jail and pay for the consequences but the police officers are lucky they didn't kill him, otherwise, the police officers will be in trouble coz he did not shot anyone of them. I am hoping you won't judge him because he is hispanic. God has given him a chance to live, and hoping he won't go to jail for life because I've seen convicted raper and seen men who has killed someone and they're only given sentences of 10 years. I hope you guys will evaluate this case thoroughly. This man grow up with no father figure as a child I saw him being smart in grade school but got influenced by wrong people. He deserve one more chance since god had given him. I am praying for second chances in life.
