A retail shop was using an overloaded extension cord? Aren't there frequent fire inspections to prevent such incidents? Too bad this happened...hope this tragedy will make other retail shops aware of the dangers.

When it comes to our property, what do we expect in case of loss (hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, fire, etc.)? The disaster itself is news. What happens after the dust settles is the story: the aftermath shock. Here is something the public should know. With a little curiosity, insurance policyholders can mitigate that shock. Emotional/mental preparedness is an important facet often overlooked.

The insuring public now has access to basic rights and vital information–even footing, equality–the security of knowing what to expect in case of loss! www.DisasterPrepared.info
