She is probably resigning since she fired Roger Bourne and he had a stroke and died the next day. Shame, shame!

Please do not start this on here! Family and friends should not have to worry about what is being said about their loved one. Let us please respect their feelings. Carlsbad girl, you are correct. They were friends. Janet Carbary has given her heart, soul, and alot of money to Carlsbad's Community. She will be dearly missed. Roger had made the decision to relocate and was not fired. He made that decision many weeks ago and was not leaving until summer. We love you Roger and you will be in our hearts forever! Teresa, our prayers are with you. Janet, you will be greatly missed, but we wish you luck and happiness in your new adventures.

Let's find a CEO that will back up the nurse's of Carlsbad and hire some of the local grads here from the local nursing school. Thy are understaffed but are not hiring the local nurse's. Also the nurse's that have a great deal of training and years of experience are only being offered starting wages for a new nurse, not a way to keep highly trained staff. That's the reason a lot of local nurses do not work in the own hometown. Bad wages and poor management will kill any business. Remember you get what you pay for and how you treat others.

turnover is do to our town not anything else. It is not always the docs themselves that want to leave its their wifes choice. Because carlsbad is to rural and they think we have nothing to offer.

recruit a doc with a 'country girl' wife and the problem is solved

"nothing to do' is an excuse by one who is too lazy to have an imagination

You need to be correct in your statements. Experienced nurses do not start at the entry level salary. Carlsbad medical Center has hired new grads from the local nursing school every year. I know that we have hired at least 5 this year. Alot are not staying in the community. You hve the right to voice your opinions but is better if you have the correct facts first

My facts are straight I have a close family member that has applied at CMC and the starting wage was almost even with a new grad and this person has 24 years as a nurse. New grads are not offered good jobs here and are told be the experienced nurses to else where. Really sad a long term nurse gets put on call and you bring contract nurses at 35 to 40 dollars and hour. And I don't care where they get the funds to pay them the higher wage the need to be level for all nurses contract or not.

The root cause of Doctor turn over is the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT and their oppressive rules & regulations.

Prior to Medicare (1960's) doscots (Dr Welby) were small business owners willing to work 16 hour days in flu season and take off later in the spring when thier patients were again well

Because of excessive government regulations, most doctors are now employed by a hospital -- they work 8-5 like any other factory worker. they are paid the same salary whether they see 1 patient or 6 patients in an hour

Yes I am thankful that the government takes care of me.
Now with obama care I fear the situation will not be better.
