The one true thing in all of this, whether Jason knew or not. His reputation and good name was given away, that can never be "fixed" and he is a young man with a lot of years left. Those records will be gone thru with a fine tooth comb.

To find out what attorney has filed a suit. You can call the courthouse and they should be able to give you that information since it is public information. If the clerk will not give that info to you over the phone, you can go to the county clerk's office and request that document.

as for me i am not so much concered with jason's "good name" more so with the people they ruined. guilty by association is now and always has been a price we pay for following the wrong people parents or not....anyone with that much money dangled in front of they like a steak to a starving dog, will no doubt do all they can to hold on to it. the money has served jason well over the years and he used it to his advantage to get whatever he wanted. to pay the price for that is appropritate. i alway heard if you play you pay.

I never said I was concerned about Jasons good name nor am I coming to his defense. My statement is only referring to the fact that it is a huge price to pay for possessions, I think it is a lesson we all should learn. Also, the truth will all come out,

If Jason wanted to come forward, he should have contacted Mrs Hicks, he knew her and what she was doing long before last week!

I have known the Browns for years also and find this hard to believe but it is true. The thing is that the people gave there money wanting 20 percent return. well that is stupid thinking. the money they gave him was to be put in stock market that is a gamble. I know people gave him money to be put in annuities also, but oh no they weren't happy with a little return they wanted more so they gave it to Jack to put in stock market. GREED YOU GET YOU EVERY TIME.

outside looking in whose "greed" are you referring to???? the brown's? the people he lied to? have you taken into cosideration that jack knew he was going to take these people and made things look much better than they were, that he intentionally padded the numbers to suck them in. some of these victims are older people who do not know how the financial market works and "trusted" their friend??? wake up and look at who is really wounded here..trully, is it the brown's???

Red, you are right , and all these people defending them and talking about greed are idiots. They are probably family members. Most of the victims don't know anything about interest, annuities, or stock market, all they thought was Jack was a good man and he will take care of me. I personally know some of them, they had no idea what was happening to them and that The Browns were predators. One of the victims, who husband has died told her not to worry good ole Jack will take care of you. He gave him over $800000 to take care of his family when he was gone, it was every cent he had. They wouldn't tell her anything, then stopped answering her phone calls. She is sick now, just had surgery and all she has now is $700 a month social security to live off. I am sick and tired of hearing about greed and the poor Brown family!

"Red" You seem to me as you have made you mind up on everyone's convictions . I be leave back through your posts you have no money tied up here . Let the courts get to the bottom of it all , who's guilty , who's not , and who will be punished . You sound like a jealouse person . It's not becoming of you .....

Yes, they trusted him. I know someone who trusted him so much that they just gave him their money beacuse Jack promised they would never lose that amount and guaranteed in writing it would only make 10% each year. This person left their money with Jack and never received a dime out of it and now their life savings is gone. They are too old to recover from this. They didn't know about the stock market or even how it worked. All they knew was that they loved & trusted this man for everything he stood for and that he would always be looking out for their best interest. They had the official looking papers he drew up stating just what he promised them and they were also promised that if they needed any of their money in the future that he would give it to them with no penalties. I mean everyone loved and trusted Jack and he had been in business for years and most importantly he was a man of God.

I can't believe that when they moved from the double wide in soddy to the big blue house by the lake and then to the 2 huge houses in bakewell/salecreek that people weren't suspicious. Not to mention the fast they have driven Corvettes, Mercedes, Escalades, Avalanche Trucks and so on and on and on!!!!!!!!!!

big bear althought i don't have any money tied up i have many years of frienship's tied up here and am speaking my mind on this forum to sort or represent the one's who can't...many of the one's whose money has been taken are not able to come on here and say anything...jealousy is not an issue here, the issue is that people have been taken advantage of and ruined by your good friends that you are so zealously taking up for....they must not have stabbed you in the back as they have these others...is jealously your motive for speaking on this forum rudy, or outkast or most of the others????

Jason knew everything otherwise why wouldnt you stay in business and if Jason is so damn innocent why dont they give Money back and he know because Jason notarized a particular document and that is illegal ummm who is innocent now..How many people out have notes notarized by Jason with Jack signature on it No I do not think Jason is an innocent victim he knew and is still trying to cover it up....If you still do not believe ask a real notary if a family member can notarize for family I think not..
