Athens supports small business, Atlanta does not. Mohammad Reed is like all democrats, he will not support white owned small businesses.

somebody needs to arrive at the figure to show the city of Atlanta, how much sales tax they lost, when they failed to work with the VJr. Not that it would matter anyway, the person responsible for running them out of town probably considered it a victory for 'his people.'

I would also like to know just how much in sales tax revenues Atlanta lost in this move by Mohammad Reed. I don't understand why he can't help small businesses rather than run them out. Another question I would like Mohammad Reed to answer is how many people did he put out of work with his decision to close the Varsity Jr?

You would think VJr. would have been grandfathered in. But the thugs who run Atlanta thought they could bully them into compliance. SURPRISE! It didn't take much for them to just pull up stakes just as many other Atlanta businesses have.

Good question, as most of the employees were blue collar, entry level type positions, chances are they are mostly local people....now jobless, and added to the welfare roles, but at least they showed the owners of the Varsity Jr who is boss around here.

I'm pretty sure the Varsity was wanting to tear down the existing building and put a new one in. Imagine that- a nicer building in Atlanta and it didn't fly... Oh well, what can you expect from imcompetent elected officials...
