Who is the moderator? Who decides what is proper or just facts? This sounds like government. What happened to free speech? Yes, many people DO read the terms of service.

Are you the admin for this site?

the original post were NOT Inappropriate, it was facts & a few opinions. And if you will look on other towns sites there is a lot worse things being said.

What is the deal? Someone has deleted numbers 1,2,3,6,7,10,16,17,25. If it dealt with M. Guelker or another person or they just disagreed, it was deleted. Talk about just wanting one side to be heard, and they are the only one right!!!

We are amazed you kept such accurate track of the remarks and who they were about, especially when they were not related to the city selling water to the oilfield.

It has to make us wonder if you were the one doing the people bashing on all over the Colorado City Topix site.

I agree! made me wonder what was important, the city selling water or noticing some posts are deleted ! Discussion of a "topic" is one thing... everyone is "free" to discuss, have opinions..once you start naming names.... you hit below the belt !

Oil companies need water but leave it to private parties. It is too much trouble otherwise.

It's ok for the city to sell water in principal but the problem is that truck traffic will destroy our streets. Keep it on the edges of town. Not the admin building.

Who had the thought to sell water to oil companies? Geulker, Hoover, Baum, Hiser?? Other cities are running very low--Rule, Haskell, Barnhart, etc. Who paid for the waterwells, pipelines to bring water in town, chemicals to add to the water? The taxpayers! And who approved the sale of water?

I thought the city was trying to keep the big trucks out of the resident streets. Why are they coming in town to get water?

Money to the city, but the zoning board & council are apeasing certain parts of town..17th street what is wrong with manufactured housing,? Seems it's ok to put certain housing anywhere except on the east side of town, town needs all the taxes & water revenue it can get.

The problem is there is a school and about to be another school. The other problem is 17th street has nice houses with people in them that work hard to take care of them. They also pay higher taxes to live in those nice homes. If you start trashing up their neighborhood they will move and I don't blame them. Oh and by the way I can think of at least 3 manufactured homes on 17th, they have nice yards and are maintained.
