Sadly, I don't put a lot of faith in our jurors. When I was on jury duty, most of the jurors initially wanted to let the drug dealer go (many bags (whatever the term is) of both crack and coke) because the drugs were only found in the car he was driving, not on him personally. Give me a break! He was out pushing with his buddies in the car. Lock him up.
As for this? A police officer has sex with someone who is severely intoxicated and doesn't think it is rape?! if he's such a stud, then why did he need to get her drunk before she'd "agree" to have sex? Doesn't he realize that when people are intoxicated, they don't make good judgement calls?! And along with it, he's married!
Put his butt in jail!! I don't want this person being a law enforcement officer!
